Definitely in my top 10 as well. Started off a bit rough, but I’m amazed at how well they’ve managed to out-trek actual Trek of late.

Right, but take for example the Joker, who is the antithesis of Batman- The forces of order versus chaos, or Superman v Lex Luther- One strong, moral, and not truly a part of the society he inhabits, versus one weak and immoral, but basically winning at society’s wealth and power game.

I agree that Jordan has the chops to work with anything, and honestly, in *this* situation, the mirror image thing sort of works, since he’s basically trying to take BP’s position. It’s just that they’ve done it so many times with other heroes already that I’m starting to burn out a bit on it.

Well, most of the stuff I’ve heard is from the West- Mali, Senegal, Guinea (I have friends that teach drumming styles from there); or from Morocco. but that’s kind of it’s own culture. There’s also a LOT of music in South Africa, and Botswana has, of all things, a thriving metal scene (check out Wrust!).

I really want F4 in the MCU just because Doom is probably the best looming villain for Phase 4 and beyond. He’s the only character that can give Dr Strange, Iron Man, and Black Panther EACH a run for their money.

The man’s entire career was built on telling people whatever they wanted to hear, then doing what was best for himself, and sticking everyone else with the bill.

At least we have The Orville.
