I’m inclined to agree. I think that nations in general are sort of... redundant? It seems like there are tons of things which need to happen on a very localized level, and a lot more than need to happen on a global level, but very few things in between those.
Yes, but the corporations *benefit* from nationalistic conflict. We have a generation coming up who sees through that.
That depends on what sites you’re looking on. The trolling and sensationalism is largely on the major content-heavy sites like YouTube and Buzzfeed.

I’ve known more than one person with the same thing- sometimes other words, but nuclear seems to be the most common- They KNOW the correct pronunciation, they can spell it, but whenever they speak, it just comes out mispronounced. I’m wondering if it’s not an artifact of some regional dialect or something.

There are people who are allergic to pork. I think it’s pretty rare, but I do remember that when I had a scratch-test panel, it was one of the things they tested for.
Except India- Something like half the population is vegetarian, and 99% don’t eat beef. Even McDonalds there has like a half dozen different veggie burgers, and everything else chicken.
