The problem is that it's not a matter of "my bigotry is just as valid as your opinion that people should be treated equally", but that there is hard, documented proof that these people hold their anti-gay sentiments as a religious belief. That makes it protected by law, every bit as much as race or gender.

This is one of the things I warned would happen when the gay couple sued that other bakery. Personally, I think the state should very clearly draw the line at whether a business exists as a separate entity.

Actually, what works better is to just sign and date the work in the presence of a notary. They'll charge you $5 or so to authenticate it. That *will* hold up in most courts.
