Ticket prices up, disposable income down, Michael Bay defiling our childhood toys, and nothing but sequels and reboots on the horizon. I can buy a blue ray player for the cost of two movie tickets and a large popcorn. Even at minimum wage, a 60" TV is only about 3 weeks pay.

I actually remember Fate magazine doing an article on "boomerang shaped" UFOs that were being widely reported in the mid 80's.

PLEASE let me know if you ever decide to write an article that goes into detail on all of that. It sounds like an amazing project.

Depends on the kind of prepper they are. Most of the folks I know are less about building stockpiles than they are about being self-sufficient, homesteading, off-grid types.
