384 for me.

But it's not just about the CROP. What happens when ANOTHER species- an insect, a fungus, a virus- turns out to be particular well adapted TO that crop?

That's actually one of my biggest issues with GMOs (aside from the legal/financial/sociopolitical problems). It's fine if we're talking about engineering e-coli to produce a particular enzyme in a vat in a lab, but it's another thing when you're deliberately letting things loose in the wild.

Automation will replace doctors and linemen and pilots relatively quickly.

Yeah, I was going to mention that- although with a bit more rambling about Hermetic Qabbala. Probably better if I don't.

Moving a business is a bit more complicated than moving house. Aside from the sheer volume of stuff, you have employees, suppliers, customers, and government to keep in the loop and account for.

I've been saying for years that it's time for a second Great Experiment. The genius of our Founding Fathers was to take a monarchy, a Greco-Roman senate, a tribal council, and a charter colony, and combine them into a new and coherent system: A presidency, congress, and court balanced by a constitution.

We clearly associate with a very different class of people. With one or two rare exceptions, Nobody I know would sit around doing nothing.

At the moment, here is what the top 5 people in my FB feed are doing in their free time:

This has actually been my talking point for quite a few years now- I believe that people should pull themselves up by their own bootstraps, and that the role of government is to make sure they have the boots to do so.

Well, the claymore wasn't intended for using on people- They were to break horses' legs.

I have, on occasion, instigated a furious screaming match with someone who refused to accept the literal truth of Atum creating the world from the swirling waters of Nu.

What I usually try to hammer home is that literalism is a sign of *WEAK* faith. People like this don't believe the Bible is true, they *hope* the Bible is true.

Well, it's sort of old-school capitalism versus new-school capitalism.

I have said it many times before: Those who are entrusted with the public welfare, and then use that power to victimize people, are the only humans lower than child molesters. There is no punishment too severe for that kind of betrayal.

That was so, so wrong on so, so many levels.

Exactly- Something that's supposed to be associated with children, like a flyer for a Sunday school or birthday party. I've also used it when creating a background that was supposed to look like a blueprint, and needed a neat and clear, but still handwritten font.

I recently discovered that Nickelback sucks.
