Yes, it is.

Another misinterpreted study. The real headline of the study is not that white and red meat had similar effects on cholesterol, it’s that the non-meat diet barely had any benefit over the meat diet.

I do not condone Mad Max in the video. I do, however, sympathize with how he/she must have felt. We have these wonderful high-occupancy lanes where EVs and other road warriors can blast ahead of the dead heads in the regular lanes. The frustration is when some mush-brained individual in a Corolla or similarly dreary

FYI — Some recycling programs and even organics collection programs readily accept plastic bags to a degree. As you state, the rules vary.

Soap scum is a problem with this and other soaps (soap being the technical term for the salt of a fatty acid).

The Veyron is not aging (visually) as gracefully as I would have thought.

I agree that we are in the endgame, but I don’t think spider webs work like that.

Let's not try to overthink every interaction with every other human.

10am EST or EDT?! I think you mean EDT! The east coast is on daylight savings time currently.

My (Canadian) wife is considering I high-level job with a professional grow-op. If she takes it, she could be banned for life from entering the US, just as some of this grow-op’s owners have been already. Similarly, if my retirement savings are partially invested in something to do with marijuana, I could be banned

Much of a city’s transit costs are sunk. In other words, $120M in transit discounts doesn’t actually cost the city $120M.

You assume impeccable honesty and integrity in the individuals that set the limits. In reality, this has been shown to not be the case; nonsensically low limits often truck drivers. Local police profit directly from the deception. They shorten the amber light where they install red light cameras so they can catch more

You are insane.

Speed limits are determined using math and physics, or at least they are supposed to. Often they are not and the resulting difference between a reasonable speed and the posted speed is used to stuff police coffers with cash.

Artificially low speed limits, revenue generation over safety... Your comments ring of youth, naivety, and inexperience. Do you even have a driver’s license?

Have you lost your mind?

...deeply influenced often in a negative way mind you. Just and fair laws, for example, are based on reason, not ancient superstitious writings. And if you think that religion invented morality, you are so far off the mark that you might be a lost cause.

You don’t understand the definition of autopilot (both the common definition and Tesla’s). Further, every user of this feature DOES understand what it means; the car incessantly reminds you when you do something wrong. The accidents that occurred were a result of knowingly misusing the feature.

Durability is suspect. Can anyone think of any continuous, non-segmented (e.g., like a chain or woven fabric) material that you can fold repeatedly without causing wear or damage? I don’t want a phone that starts degrading after 100 or so openings/closings.

Ha, ha. The quilted leather in the picture looks like the blankets they line elevators with on moving day.
