I love the concept of this guy’s channel, but I’ll say it again: he is often off the mark. It’s as if he reasons out his conclusions, but has little evidence to support them.

The supercruise buttons look like they’re made from the same plastic as in a rental Camry.

How do you go from atheism to religious belief? It’s a one-way street (the other way) if you are truly honest with yourself.

Nissan Versa hatchback?

Just to give you an idea of how much markup and costs there are in delivering a consumer product, I used to buy diatomaceous earth (“DE”) for $0.50/lb. You get good discounts when you buy 100 tons per year.

Engineering Explained comes across as nerdy and, therefore, authoritative. But, I don’t buy everything said on this YouTube channel. Certain explanations sound just wrong or off the mark a bit based on my engineering background and automotive experience. This video is no exception.

Me.

Take it from a chemical engineer and gearhead, chlorinated brake cleaner does wonders. It’s basically dry cleaning solvent (the old-school type, not the new earth-friendly type). Just be sure to do a test patch first, and try not to breath it in.

It’s possible for both to be true.

Don’t get me wrong; they can sound good—various high-revving 1990s Honda mills come to mind—but the best 6s, 8s, 10s, 12s,and even 2s all sound better than the best fours.

Ding. Of engines of two to 12 cylinders, four seems to sound the worst. Plus, there’s that economy car pitter patter at idle that makes me feel like I’m in a rental Camry.

I actually counted to see if you had the right number of bums/dums.

Mean.

TIP: If you want to get a finer spray out of an aerosol can, heat it up in warm water. You’ll be able to feather and blend like a boss.

Can we just call it what it is? It’s a shaver for your junk and armpits.

My limited reading of the Star Wars project leads me to believe that it is because of it (not despite it) that the Soviet Union was forced to throw in the towel.

Automatic dishwasher detergent (powder or liquid) works even better. Laundry soda also works. Not coincidentally both contain sodium carbonate as their principal ingredient.

It will produce carbon monoxide if starved of oxygen, just like a regular burner.

Does anybody else get migraines from aspartame? Splenda tastes best to me and is least likely to give me a migraine.
