Not built "Ford Tough"

I am pretty sure the 69 Ford Escort that my grandfather used to drive uptil 1990s had a similar if not identical dashboard. Twin dials, Central air vents that opened with a twist knob and the wooden strip. Can't find the right photo on the interweb :/ can anyone confirm if I am hallucinating or what?
