It’s not really like a few bolt on performance upgrades are going to make a super car much faster and better handling than it started out. I would say they are just as likely to hurt performance if they try to “upgrade” it. In this case, it’s probably smart to leave them stock.
Watching that video, I have questions. Everything just turns to shards! But seriously, do they even attach that battery to anything? It comes flying out of the front of the car. It looks like the terminal is taped off, so maybe it was loose in there? That could kill a nearby pedestrian! What a way to go!
