I feel amazingly justified right now. I buy a lot of tools at Harbor Freight, and I’ve had to defend that practice on more than one occasion. My standard line is always “If the tool failing can kill me, I won’t buy it at Harbor Freight - Jackstands for instance.”

Hear hear.

Thanks for the explainer.  Yeah, I had to go look for photos myself just to understand the difference, as we’ve had a number of regular M54 cars in the family.

I believe what you’re saying, but I’m having trouble understanding why the pump can’t be replaced. I own other vehicles where the pump is fully contained within the tank.

13. The Pre-Sequel.

Definitely. Making a batch of limoncello always creates a surplus of naked lemons, so we juice and make bags and bags of “party ice”.

I like to add frozen berries to certain drinks as a way to keep things chilled w/o ice. They aren’t booze-soaked when they go in, but they are by the time you’re nibbling them out of the bottom of a lowball!

I came to comment to make sure everyone knew about Nugget Man, but I see it’s been handled already.  Excellent.

Goddamn I hate that man.  Nothing insightful to add.

Oh god, you’re right.  <Shudder>

Yeah, but that’s all stuff that can be unbolted and transferred, so it’s not conclusive. (either could still be true) Show me the underside of the car...

I have to presume that’s closer to what was actually done here. Despite Rob’s usage of phrases like “skin” and “frame”, the BMW was a unibody car.

Call me if the next CEO is pro-6-banger-wagons-with-sticks.  Otherwise, eh.

Agreed on the Impulse RS. The angrier headlights (and Turbo/AWD) really made it the leader of the GM/Isuzu badge collaboration.

Try it. Generally, yes, there are a lot of “fish in the sea”, as it were.

Bummer. We did Wow-Air for an LAX-KEF-FRA trip a couple years back and it was great. Bare-bones describes the listed offerings, but once on-board, the service and staff were great.

My biggie: What’s the real payoad, on a properly kitted Rubicon?
