You’re losing weight the right way — slowly and sustainable. There’s a reason dieters always put back on the weight they lose while on their diet, and the evidence from this extremely small sample study shows exactly why. Healthy weight loss is slow and takes time, but that slow weight loss is also what keeps it off!

I’m a Mustang guy, and while I’d love a low mileage, super clean ‘92 notchback, you’re completely correct about the Fox body Stangs. They were okay for the 80s, most cars of that era were all ugly, inside and out. But yeah, no way I’d ever pay $40k for a Fox body Stang.

Given your current circumstances, and the impending, unavoidable future of a climate changed world, you should probably start looking for work somewhere other than South Florida. Just a thought.

Doesn’t matter. The insane amount of money it would take to save Miami, if it’s even possible, would be so immense that they’d never be able to get away with it. The rest of the country would have a conniption fit and rather than risk losing re-election, they’d give Miami the middle finger.

You speak the truth! It’s kind nice having all of those a stone’s throw from my back porch. :)

Not likely, especially when those rich you speak of are mostly foreign owners these days. You think the US govt gives a shit if a bunch of rich Russians or formerly rich Brazilians lose their condos? Even if they did, the US govt sure as shit isn’t going to pay to build a dyke around the entire coast of south Florida.

Thanks, Captain Obvious! As a homeowner and resident of Texas, I would have never known that without your keen insight!

Doesn’t matter, it’ll all be underwater by 2050.

Bah! We paid $329k for our house in Austin, and my property taxes were $10,400 last year. Granted, our appraisal has now exceeded our initial purchase price, as the entire Austin housing market has continued to rise, but I’d still take your property taxes over mine!

Well aren’t you lucky?

Ain’t that the damn truth! Across the friggin board!

As a former rider, well said. I always did my best to obey the rules of the road, even if that meant getting stuck in rush hour stop and go traffic when I could have easily lanesplit or rode the shoulder.

You realize that around about 100 years ago now, girls were still getting married at 16 and having kids at 16, right? Age is nothing more than an arbitrary number used by a bunch of misguided, Christian heterosexual men to establish laws that comport to their myopic view of what reality should be.

Eh, GM has been all about margins since the 1970s when the bean counters took over. Nothing has changed, even after their government bailout. GM still builds shit cars with shit quality that are extremely overpriced at every level.

How does Ford fit into this? They’ve openly stated that rebuilding Lincoln into the premium line it used to be is going to be a decade long project. They’re actually taking the time to do it right, from the ground up. Unlike GM/Caddy, who’s just rushing shit out the door and as usual with awful long term reliability.

They’re the greatest road trip car ever. And I mean, ever.

I was going to make snide comment, but your avatar kind of says it all.

Cadillac to be as good as Lexus? Excuse me while I go pick up a new keyboard to replace the one I just spit my coffee on to.

I could care less about all the extras, I just want to enjoy the movie.

I didn’t pre-order from Amazon but it was already listed at $17.99 when I bought it on April 1 from Amazon.
