This car is almost exactly my first car. Only difference is I had the targa top version. But otherwise identical down the the gray interior. That car was so much fun! I loved it! Used to surprise the shit out of Mustangs and Camaros when I’d dust them off the line. :)

And how many DNFs did Lewis have last season when Nico won? Not including the one where Nico turned into him. Three I think? Don’t remember the exact number, but had Lewis had the same reliability as Nico, Lewis would have been a four time world champion. As it was, he still almost was.

I truly believe that when Honda stopped making the Prelude is when they lost their racing soul. I was never impressed with the S2000.

I’m jealous. I couldn’t afford one back when I was 16, but then again, that was 1993, so go figure. Even though I knew they were under powered for what they were, I still lusted after the 5th gen SH-AWD model. I think when Honda stopped making the Prelude is when they started going to shit.

They just flat out got too expensive for the power they delivered.

My favorite Prelude ever. Wanted one so bad at the time but couldn’t afford it. They had gotten pricey for the SH-AWD version, but at least I got to drive a few.

My dad turns 77 in a couple of weeks. He doesn’t run marathons or anything like that, but he’s plenty healthy. He was born in 1940.

Have several young kids over a 7 year span. You won’t have time to watch football anymore. Worked for me. Last season I barely watched any games. Just lost interest or was too busy with other stuff.

Let’s not forget the FZ-07 and the like are also infinitely more reliable than any HD ever made. I owned a CBR 600RR and 1000RR, and never had to do any maintenance outside of oil changes and cleaning the chains.

I had 145hp at the wheel of my ~400 lb CBR 1000RR. Tell me again how Harley’s aren’t slow, bloated, and under powered?

Ditto. Just turned 40 last week. Used to own/ride 600RR and 1000RR CBRs. Never in a million years would I even consider buying a Harley. Giant pieces of shit. HD = H.undred D.ollars per part.

My father is going to trade in his same Maserati as your friend (except his is a ‘vert) for an S550. Why? Because the car, beautiful as it sounds and looks, is a giant piece of shit. And he’s had it for ~24k miles.

Texas doesn’t have a state income tax. Thus property taxes tend to be high. My rate is 3.01%, and last year’s property tax bill was just under $11k. Because of my escrow that almost doubles my monthly mortgage payment. I’m lucky in that I can afford the increases. But many people cannot.
