So this heart-wrenching sequence, where a daughter leaves her father behind - forever - hits me right in the guts. It's seeing a Civ game from the ground floor, and this Civ game has gone wrong. It's dystopian. Children of Men-meets-Deep Impact.

Pre-order culture is a bad culture to be a part of no matter if the game is good or bad.

You know you've hit rock bottom in your relationship when you need to go on the internet to a gaming website, and tell some guy playing a game that he needs to get a girlfriend... ;)

or you know, his hobby?

And I'll be that nerd: It's not a cyborg, it's an android

Which one is which? Because you can gripe about Destiny not being what you thought, but I don't think anyone can say that it isn't successful.

Meanwhile latest news from a parallel universe:

I'll be dressing as Mario tonight for a Halloween party. I think it looks pretty swell! My wife will be Peach :P

Step 1: Think of all the cool characters you would like to be.

For me, Kirito never felt believable as a character. He's extremely good at the game, he gets the special sword skills nobody else gets. He's supposed to be quite intelligent, but the way the story is written, he just has him figure out things with no good explanation. It always just felt like he figured out those

No... no, I'd feel stupid to introducing/thanking a virtual character for their fake performance.

"I am experienced and this is stupid."

"I know. The only person following you on Twitter is your mother."

How is this sad? Watching my 12 year old dog friend struggling to walk is sad, this is stupid.

You're the luckiest bottle in the world!

I agree about Mandy. Multiple premises for potential character arcs, but they never seem to come to fruition...

I'm going on a cruise with my wife's family that week... Yeah I'll be in the room guys. See you at dinner maybe.

I'll never forget the "rumor" of Sonic being in Melee. Good lord, my friends spent months trying to figure that one out.

Guess who won the internet...
