So when you play Winston do you think about a gorilla fucking a human or another gorilla? Sorry, “gettin’ weird,” to use the parlance of our times.

Oh lord. This one:
Using that criteria, which I don’t disagree with, half of adult men would be little boys. It’s great if you don’t feel that way, but you don’t have to look hard for someone that doesn’t.
I said this to Brad as well, but:
Showing hate and institutionalized discrimination and violence are two different things. Both sides of any “binary” relationship (white/black, straight/gay, cis/trans, men/women) can do the former, but only the side that is part of the cultural “norm” can do the latter.
Equitable would be not allowing people to earn 1000 or 100,000 times what another person does. I don’t care what the jobs are, literally no person’s labour is that much more valuable than another.
I don’t know if your post is satire, but I just want to mention that being apolitical is not an apolitical act. It is tacit endorsement of the status quo. Not caring about politics just means that you are privileged enough to not be affected by issues that affect others, and that by not giving a shit about that you are…
I think DearFreja’s point though was that they try to paint the narrative as serious, while building it on over the top gameplay, and that maybe they should stop trying to force those two things together?
Not taking a political stance IS a political stance. It shows that you are at least comfortable with the status quo, if not outright in support of it. If that status quo includes shitting on certain groups of people, you are tacitly supporting that by not actively condemning it.
A dig at Bethesda for the poor reception to Fallout 76.
The differences between those two forms of advertising seem kinda irrelevant to the point though (yours and Dr J Marc’s). Your original post seemed to be a lot more about the conflict between an ad department and Kotaku editorial having the same boss, not the distinction between Google ads and sponsored articles.…
We can still be perplexed though, right? As a child of divorce, I don’t get how that Conway marriage works.
Best case scenario this project seems like a waste of time. Read a book, you little shits. Rewriting holiday jingles is for discount ad agencies, not a class for fucking 16 year olds.
apparently they were tasked with creating a jingle based on the post-Civil War Reconstruction era for their U.S. History class.
If this doesn’t emotionally scar children, it won’t live up to the animated version.
SimCity didn’t promise that it would run?
Wouldn’t it be way more shady if Kotaku was posting articles about how great the Bethesda pre-order was and that the nylon bag looked great?
That’s about a nuanced a take as ‘the Ted Kord Blue Beetle is only worth watching because of “racism.”’
If they want to sell it to me, I’ll buy it. But I’m gonna watch it.
