I think it’s a similar case as Gene Roddenberry. Both guys came up with good ideas for shows... and then went on to be directly responsible for some of the worst episodes. It’s like they are just concept men that really should be leaning harder on their writers to execute the ideas.

Yeah, I mean it would have been nice if they had of made six great episodes, but as soon as I heard Carter was reutrning I knew that wasn’t going to happen. Really we were probably lucky to get three good ones.

In all fairness, that’s basically how I feel about the original series. There isn’t a season in it that doesn’t have its share of stinkers.

A couple years back, on New Years Eve, I had food poisoning on Indian food. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. My asshole was more alive with burning than it’s ever been.

Oh yeah, I’m not saying that in general that’s not an issue, but in this case it doesn’t seem to apply.

I don’t think anyone thinks there’s anything wrong with a person deciding that a game is not worth it buying.

Why is content in quotes? Since when are puzzles not content?

And people can demand what they want, no development team is entitled to people buying their product at the price they think is fair.

Okey dokey, Yoda.

But that attitude would cost us so much amazing art. Not just games but books, movies, music.

They’ve decided to do something because they are passionate about it. That might be a bad business decision, but that doesn’t make it a bad decision.

It’s all good! I didn’t mean to come off as pissy at you, I’m sorry if I did. Take care!

Yeah, but that’s part of larger issues around education and access to art and all that. I don’t necessarily disagree with that concept.

Oh it totally does. I don’t want you to think that I am slagging you or anything. I have pirated in the past and I will in the future, so I don’t want to come across as judging you for it.

Think we’re on a tangent here.

Well, libraries don’t pay the same rates that individuals do. So it’s not really the same.

Well, except libraries pay for the materials in them. So the developers are getting compensated for it.

That’s really an argument for college libraries having more games and films in their catalogue though.

If piracy was 100% stopped tomorrow, I really doubt that all those people that torrent would stop watching movies/playing games/listening to music. They would have to make choices about what games to spend their money on, just like the rest of us. You might not buy the 50 games you pirated last year, but you might buy
