Most people who steal wouldn’t “have bought it anyways.” That’s why they stole it.

Maybe you should just play it for an hour before spending two hours tweaking graphic settings? I don’t think I’ve played a game that I didn’t get a feel for within 20 minutes.
Really, watching ten minutes of gameplay on youtube is enough to get a feel for it. Two hours is more than enough.
YES. I pirate movies and tv shows but I’m not a fucking hero for it. I’m stealing, I know it. Own up to what a scumbag you are, people!
How could you ever prove that pirating=lost sales though? I always hear that, but I have no idea how you could really mathematically figure that out.
Ok, but you want to get paid for your work in graphic design, right?
Now now, we have our fair share of entitled assholes over here.
Yes. I play my fair share of games, and I can count on one hand the number I bought at full price. Games devalue so quickly that the price point excuse is such bullshit.
So do you play those buggy games for 20 minutes and get sick of the bugs, or do you play through the bugs for 20 hours and then decide it’s not worth it? Because only one of those is even close to legit.
Shit, just the tickets at my theatre can be over $20, if it’s 3D and in the fancy theatre.
I like how that response is three posts below this. Haha.
It often sounds like a lot of people think it’s the right thing to do. Pirating is one thing, but don’t try to dress it up as anything other than stealing (sorry, “cheating”).
Entertainment is not a right. I would love to own all the consoles and a sweet gaming PC but I have to make due with a 360 I bought at the end of its cycle and a Wii U I spent the last year saving up for.
Well, you are depriving the developer from making a living.
Glad I’m not alone here.
Hooray! My advice: Pick a theme for how you’ll name and customize your dudes. (My last playthrough I named them all after Marvel characters. How sad it was when Wolverine sacracficed himself to save She-Hulk! I think the imaginary game I play in my mind is almost the best part about XCOM.)
