They are both humiliation-based punishments. Neither physically harms the kid. The shit one is arguably LESS severe, since it doesn’t last at long. Unless, of course, there was some kind of psychological damage associated with it... Nah!
I actually agree, I amended it to something more apropos. Rubbing her face in shit is just another form of humiliation, so that’s ok, right?
Parent: You snuck out of the house and got high, endangering yourself and your future. Don’t do it again.
So the next day at school she gets bullied for having all her hair hacked off? Yeah, that’s productive parenting.
That’s pretty cool, I hadn’t seen this before and the price is pretty affordable. Thanks for the tip!
Does this have any kind of instructional module, or is it basically “here’s a bunch of resources, have at it.” It’s fine if it’s the latter, just curious.
Ah. Well that’s understandable; I feel the same way about people most days. Hope that you get to enjoy it, dog-free (and that people stop giving you shit). Take care of yourself!
Bad experience? Were you attacked?
I always appreciate Graham’s cameos on the Daily Show (via John Stewart’s impersonations). This promises to be the most ridiculous election yet.
Who could believe that “Lindsay Graham” and “Flawed_Logic” would have trouble finding people to agree with them?
I wouldn’t disagree with that. KOTOR just blew my little teenager brain when I played it and there was not a moment of it I didn’t love.
Ooh I totally disagree about Taris. I love the buildup there, swoop bike racing to free Bastilla, working your way down into the depths of the city.
I think that a lot of what KOTOR does was pretty different at the time. It’s the first game that I ever played that I could have conversations with people, could radically affect the ending, told a story that really pulled me in, etc. Not revolutionary in 2015, but in 2003 (2004?) I hadn’t ever played anything like…
Sounds like my co-workers.
I was being sarcastic, in case that didn’t come through. But you may have been too, so I can’t be sure.
I think he thinks you’re everyone that works at Kotaku.
