YES.
YES.
I know the difference, but I also know that to 90% of people the distinction between a DS and a Gameboy is a minor one, and the distinction between a 3DS and a DS is nonexistent. In the context of the original anecdote it really doesn't matter.
Sorry man, but slang forms organically, not how you want it to.
Dude, that sounds like something the majority of people would do. Speaking in shorthand is pretty common.
I think I want just... permanently dead. I'm not opposed to characters being revived in principle, but when resurrection is the norm instead of the exception death loses all dramatic purpose. The "return to normalcy" trope is such a killer for me.
That's one of the things I really liked about The Phantom (not the movie, the comic). The total inability to stick to continuity or embrace any kind of lasting narrative is really what stops me from enjoying the majority of what Marvel and DC publish.
I only wish that they would stick with it, which will never happen. I like the idea of the mantle getting passed along, but man-Thor and Steve Rogers will be back in their status quo positions sooner or later.
I know that's what I look for in my games. The Putin DLC for Halo 4 was AWESOME.
YES!
The only polite thing to do is hold it or, barring that, baste in your own juices.
I think it's probably cultural (in that I think it's the same as your local driving rules). So if you're in England, you're all good. If you're in America, YOU'RE RUINING SOCIETY.
This is a reply that I made to someone else, but in case it doesn't come up for you, here is what I think about this.
(Just in reference to your other post to me, I totally agree that legality and morality are not necessarily the same thing, but I still think whether or not something is legal is an important distinction.) I wouldn't say that the outcome is "exactly the same," but rather that the outcome is the same for the…
Dude at least use a different picture. And I DIDN'T equate them, I showed that just because the net effect of something is the same doesn't make the method of getting there the same. False equivalencies is your job.
Awesome. Good interchange.
Bros and moms, UNITED!
Uh huh. And you seem to equate "caring about" with "creating false equivalencies." I get why used games suck for the developers and publishers, but buying used and stealing are not the same. As much sympathy as I have for them I'm not going to agree with your (incorrect) point.
Guilt's a powerful tool. Moms everywhere figured that out a long time ago.
Pirating games and buying used are not the same at all. Consumers have the right to sell something they've purchased. This is a right that they have for (nearly) every other product out there. Nobody complains about used book or clothing or vehicle or electronic sales. What consumers don't have is the right to rip…
