The person that needs to pirate games to play them needs a new hobby. When people say "you" on the internet, they aren't always talking directly to you (that one on the end of the sentence though, that was totally directed towards you. So was that one).

That's how I first read it to, though the site doesn't really say that. But that idea IS really cool. Wouldn't it be awesome if the behaviour of the player affected the NPCs? How depressing would it be if people just always decided to kill you? Geesh. I wanna play THAT game.

Yeah, no, I got that. I just think they're more surreal than serious. I mean... they are totally crazy, right? This is some crazy shit.

"While these photos look super cereal..."

Since you are cherry-picking my responses to find the one thread you MIGHT conceivably be able to argue, I'm gonna make this a one-liner, and here it is:

I'm coming from a Canadian perspective here, as someone with tangential involvement in the Canadian publishing industry, as a disclaimer. But here's the thing. The funding that the arts gets is vastly overshadowed by the tax breaks and money poured into the energy industry which, last I heard, makes a shitload of

I am well aware I have no control over bigots on the internet.

That's completely untrue. If no one cared then gay marriage would be legal across the board, hate crimes and discrimination would no longer exist, Gawker would not be publishing articles (they're here to get clicks, and if people click they care), and YOU wouldn't be bitching about it.

I'm sure if you wrote an article about how games allow you to explore religious beliefs it could find a home here. Nobody made you click this man.

Yeah, cause there's nothing worse on the internet than a site publishing discussion on progressive issues. Feel free to head elsewhere.

No, I think there are a lot of people here that are interested. So...

I'm pretty sure that the pride parades and the discussion over it will evaporate as soon as the inequality and intolerance is stamped out. It's still a fucking issue so people are going to talk about it.

Your grammar! IT BURNS!!!!

Less abuse, more opportunities to gif?

Ah, apologies, I misunderstood what you were getting at.

It sounds like you are trying to equate those three sports with video games, except the difference is that those have a physical component that gives men a distinct edge over women. That doesn't exist in video games, so there is no good reason that women can't compete on a level playing field with men.

Which NBA, NFL or NHL teams have out of shape, sweaty nerds playing for them? I think that if the sport/game could be played by a brain in a jar it can afford to be coed.

Which doesn't mean that they can't and shouldn't compete against one another.

This is so strange, considering that the Rayman games have such phenomenal mechanics and platforming. The music levels in Legends are such a blast!
