honestly the sprites look FINE to me, I would have never been able to tell anything had even changed if I hadn’t seen this article.

I would prefer if they included options for the new and old text and sprites, but from the example given in the tweet the new sprite doesn't look bad. The edges where one piece of clothing or body transitions to another could be a bit better defined and less "smoothed" but overall it looks okay. 

I think you overestimate the caution that young people take with their health. Most of the people going to these conventions just see the mandates as an inconvenience that they need to endure in order to participate. These events sell out even when they were known to be sickness spreaders before COVID-19 was a thing.…

The Steam Controller was released 7 years ago and has EVERY feature mentioned here. But lacked a dpad and second analog stick. It used the track pads to simulate them. But the back buttons were there.

I disagree with that sentiment because people will eventually just get used to whatever new standard is. It happened many many times in the past already, and it shows when there's entire generations who grew up with that controller standard.
