“A bus that flies,” perfect description. I’m too old for this s*it and have no money, so bonus :))

I took a 6 hour bus ride home after Southwest stranded this holiday season.

And when you need booze to make it through your bus-in-the-sky experience, theirs is cheaper (and it’s much easier to get free booze coupons) than any other airline.

Southwest is nowhere near as shitty as Frontier or Spirit. Nowhere near.

I pretty much only fly southwest and although I don’t normally fly a lot, I have never had a problem with them. Though one time on a layover I thought I had way more time for lunch and a few drinks and got called to the gate as the last passenger to board even though I was like A6. That kind of sucked since my app

Yeah but Southwest historically managed to be a budget carrier while also having outstanding customer service and an industry-best on-time rate.  Their FAs are still the best by a mile.  But otherwise that hasn’t been the case for a while - I often find they’re more expensive than the major carriers and now that they

This isn’t a Southwest problem. It’s more of an asshole problem.

I live in the same city as one of SW’s major hubs and I fly them a lot. Never had a bad experience.

WTF is wrong with people? I fly mostly Southwest because I like the flexibility in cancelling and rescheduling and the free checked bags. People shit on SW for their seating policies, but on my last four Delta flights I had to kick 3 people out of my assigned seats. One guy tried to tell me his daughters REALLY wanted

To be a tiny bit fair, Spring 2020 was EXACTLY the wrong time to launch an enterprise targeting the on-the-go, in-transit, not-quarantined audience.

Quibi was Jeffrey Katzenberg thinking he could succeed where everyone where everyone else failed (monetizing short form scripted content) because he was Jeffrey Katzenberg. But yeah, I didn’t talk to anyone on the outside who didn’t think it was idiotic.

I wonder if the source for that Sun piece was Witherspoon’s publicist.  Lots of backhanded compliments and remarks about him in that one - “Jim’s a nice guy who will co-parent, but he had a mid-life crisis and wants to go off and be a weird tech guy with tattoos while Reese is all Warrior Mom and serious business”.

Another source told Page Six there was “no big scandal or drama” driving the couple’s split, but they’re “just two people who essentially became co-parents and don’t really have any romantic feelings for each other anymore.”

Mazin and Druckman need to stop worrying about how adapting every detail of the videogame needs to placate the rabid fans. I can understand wanting to replicate and keep story scenes, major character choices, wardrobe and dialogue similar in order to capture the spirit of the game, but they seem VERY concerned that

While I can appreciate this idea and I think it would’ve worked well, I gotta say I prefer them sticking to the game’s ending. I love the abrupt-feeling cut to black. It forces you to dig into your feelings and figure out how to feel about it for yourself.

I love how "I like to do my own research" has become such a convenient shorthand for me to instantly dismiss the person saying it as a complete fúcking moron.

Three Points:

I don’t remotely get how We Don’t Talk About Bruno became, apparently, an earworm. Nothing at all against the piece, which is a fine exposition song, but I didn't find it musically gripping at all. Surface Pressure is also my favorite from that film, but there are multiple others I also thought were more catchy.

Now playing

Every last person I know who has seen Encanto has agreed that “Surface Pressure” is a far superior song than “Bruno”.

Tale as old as time... “Beauty and the Beast” isn’t on this list, and I have some issues with that.
