OK, Trebek is one cool cat and should be respected as such. However, the other things you cite should be complete non-issues. Denying others chances to get ahead is part of the game. Who cares what he looks like?

I don't really see the kid watching porn at 13 to be the issue here.

Now raise your hand if you watched porn in your early teens then raped your sister...right, nobody. You most certainly can blame someone here other than just the kid. The kid obviously has issues that were most likely apparent before he raped his 8 yr old sister. It's not "he did a dumb thing and it's going to cost

Watching porn I think is the least of this kids concerns. Something is clearly wrong with him. Porn didn't just make him rape his sister. That's not how normal people work.

When I say slavery, you say sorry!

SLAVERY!

I think when people compare you to Beethoven, you are perhaps held to a higher standard than when they compare you to Lil Wayne. Just a thought!

Because fuck variety right? Why try anything different?

Well i think if it were my job to read the feedback about a game i made, if there was profanity or people just rage posting, i'd skip right over those. There's enough angy people and rage on the internet. People should collect their thoughts and share them to work through problems.

I've also had trouble with anytime back-seat developers call a dev team 'lazy'. "blahblahblah didn't implement this feature that I want, they must be pretty lazy." And invariably, the people making such comments have no development knowledge and don't have the slightest clue how hard the dev team has actually worked.

While there's some truth to that, you have to consider that developer size is pretty well correlated to developer agility. It's easy for a 2 person team to pinpoint a change to be made in a smaller game and act on it. It's not quite so for a multi-million dollar production in which hundreds of different people, some

It's entirely possible that i've become so accustomed to computers auto capitalizing my i's at the beginning of a sentence that i don't even check any more. ;)

i always abide by the rules that feedback should be polite, informative, concise, and written using proper grammar. I've had good luck communicating with developers, community managers, and people in general by doing so. Weird, right?
