$10 says that it was sold to a used car dealership

I'm really surprised it didn't sell during the pandemic, when we had the whole car shortage thing going on.

Far as I know, no. We both kind of liked the uncertainty. It was still there when I finished up in early 2015.

I wonder what the oldest new car sold was? This must be up there. So many questions - was the dealer paying finance costs on that thing for the last 8 years? Why didn’t it sell in 2017, 2018... like what were they asking? What did it eventually sell for? Who bought it?

Hey, I’ll settle for a new Chevy Volt or Impala, Ford Taurus or Chrysler 200 (with the V-6) if I can find one. I’ll take the risks with deterioration.

“Jealous”. lol

I don’t hate anyone for their vehicle choice. Seeing a certain car doesn’t raise my blood pressure or such. My only emotion about other drivers choice of cars is pity. I mean I really feel sorry for those people in spotless Rubicons or various sundry $70K+ Pickups.

Man, what a bunch of judgey bullshi…

After owning 7 BMW’s over the last 20 years (I still have 2) I did not realize I was such a selfish SOB!!

I live in an area where by far the most common vehicle on the road is a Suburu Outback or similar because it is legitimately the perfect vehicle for winding, high-wind, snowy mountain roads. They’re just billy goats. And seeing them with 250K+ on the odometer is very common around here.

As someone with a Camaro that is NOT an IROC, fun list!

As much as I diss Subarus for their wonky craptacular CVT transmissions. Go to any trailhead where the terrain is gnarly and requires fitness and expertise and the Subarus outnumber SUVs and 4x4 trucks by a good margin. Subies are a lot cheaper than the alternatives and real dirtbags work to live not the other way

I would like to have an IROC and a Stellantis Hellcat SUV. I promise I am not an awful person.

And midsized crossovers are a necessity?

Looks like they’re styling it more like the Camaro and Charger too.

Right here, before your eyes, a price increase for the sake of a price increase. Pure gouging.  This…is why we have non-textbook inflation.  Greed.

He literally said it’s cheaper to fly AND rent a car.

Flying is stupid cheap. I’ve scored $100-200 round trip tickets. It’s cheaper to fly and rent a car.

Honestly, Musk is holding back America in EV adoption.

Let me rush out and buy a car from this piece of shit.
