Ah... the innocent days.

It would have been so much better if Rapinoe hadn’t let the cat out of the bag, they got an invite then proceeded to no-show en masse.

He just needs a forehead prosthetic to pass as a Klingon.

How far away is the nearest really good pizza joint from that house? Or sushi? Or ramen? Steakhouse? Museum? Theatre? Nightclub? ... You get the idea.

Wonderful strike at the end, but that was some bad defending dropping off that far and giving her that much room to dribble. The defender was playing it like a 2-on-1 situation trying to split the difference between 2 attackers and not getting tight on either. To be fair the Dutch midfield was behind the play so the

Richarlison played?  Not your grandpa’s Brazil, for sure.

Yeah, but did they call it the “LA River”?  I don’t remember.

My uncensored DVDs and Blu-rays are now worth a fortune!  Muahahaha!

You’re getting worked up over an article from The Daily Mail, i.e. the British equivalent of The New York Post.

Kyrie really didn’t like the Cavs. Kyrie really didn’t like the Celtics. No extra credit for identifying the common denominator.

Suarez deserves all the bile in the world, except for that handball. I’ll never understand the hatred he gets for it, except that he did it to poor little Ghana. It’s an intentional foul and was punished according to the rules. What’s the problem? It’s like a DB holding a WR on a potential game-tying TD and getting

Great photo composition too on many of these.  What an excellent adventure.  Thanks to The Grannies for sharing it!

I wouldn’t call it “corny nihilism” but rather extreme pragmatism—he’s simply doing what works and is allowed within the rules, although it’s debatable that the amount of movement he makes to initiate contact is in fact within the rules. If he were playing in the early 90s he’d be pounding the low post for 15 seconds

This is one benefit of VAR not widely discussed—if evaluated carefully and honestly, painful VAR situations like this can result in better rules instead of bad rules being kept in place and enforced through VAR.  It remains to be seen whether the rules-makers will do what is needed.

Need some crab leg clusters to sweeten the deal.  Oh wait, wrong criminal.

In fact his mild comments might have caused the misunderstanding by Gabe here. Neville’s comments were typical British understatement. He could have gone scorched earth and ranted and raved about every serious offence by Cameroon and would have been totally justified in doing so, but instead he reverted to British

England manager Phil Neville saw neither of these as viable understandings of what happened and instead decided to use his postgame interview to chide Cameroon—who, remember, England had just beaten by three goals—for not keeping their composure.
...
Neville could at least be justified in his frustrations if his

Hard to say 100%, but that looked more like a miscontrol by the Cameroonian defender than a back pass. It’s not automatically a free kick just because the defender is the last to touch it with her legs or feet before the goalkeeper picks it up—it has to be an actual pass. I’ve seen plenty of instances in countless

You think this guy knows calculus?!

+1 knob on the end.
