Jim Kelly really left his nephew hanging.
Jim Kelly really left his nephew hanging.
When will that be?
What an eloquent and gracious concession speech. If only all top level competitors were this kind.
I’m going with the fanbase least likely to beat you into a coma in their bathroom or parking lot. Unfortunately that means “cheering” for the Redsox, but sometimes needs must.
Look into some cooperative games. You win or lose as a group, so these games are highly social and you can help your child regulate his/her emotions as you’re all in it together and can demonstrate the proper emotional response for the situation. For that age group I’d look at these games to start out with:
I don’t play Carcassonne with 4 year olds either. *shrug*
Age 3-6 for Qwirkle? Only if playing with other kids. If there are adults involved who aren’t throwing the game, kids that young won’t stand a chance.
How does this free-for-a-couple-months thing work? Make sure to download it for free on Steam within the promo period and you have access to it forever, or does it somehow disappear after the promo period and you have to pay if you want to play with it afterward? I’m assuming the former but jaded enough to not be…
Offensive pass interference that wasn’t called before the touchdown.
$100+ for dinner?! Time to hit the streets, bud! Great food for really cheap.
I mean what else is new? The U.S. is trying to keep nuclear weapons out of everybody’s hands except their own. This is not new behavior, i.e. meddling in other countries’ business.
So you say PES still plays better and I assume FIFA still has no credible answer to PES’s Master League. Why would I buy FIFA again? Glitz? Meh. Champions League branding? Less than meh. Individual player reality TV show? No thanks.
It’s not about shitting on Destiny. It’s about recognizing that despite millions of units sold, outside of the gaming community it hasn’t made a dent in public awareness. Madden on the other hand has wide recognition from even non-gamers. Thus Destiny is niche in the general public while Madden is not.
Get in, Harry!
I would like to have a reference for the Spencer thing if you have it handy.
Papa’s John
The gaming industry is criminally exploitative. I feel so much for these folks. How can you possibly build a life around 70-80 hour work weeks and no OT pay? It’s extremely unhealthy on any number of fronts.
You tried to explain this to a 27 year old with an analogy about being old and approaching death? Yeah, he’s not gonna identify with that.
Sounds like a really fun day, but you ate at a Popeye’s while you were there?! What a waste! The local food is arguably the best part of the experience.
The decision about who will be held responsible for the death of a teenager will ultimately fall on the powerful people who created an environment that allowed it to happen.
