I would have preferred Liverpool get Madrid. Their home field advantage is pretty much nonexistent and their style of play especially defensively is easier for Liverpool to break down.

Nah, you’d fit right in.
+1 headbutt
I’m embarrassed for all the “fans” who have so little knowledge of the game to deny that it was a clear cut penalty. There are plenty of questionable calls to debate, but that penalty is not one of them.
That’s an interesting thought. The home-and-away format is supposed to favor better teams as they are typically more consistent, but seeing Madrid collapse at home today makes me think Liverpool’s home advantage is greater than anybody’s except maybe Roma.
Count(counter(counter))point: Madrid looked brittle in the return leg. I still like Liverpool’s chances against them.
Counterpoint: bring on Madrid. To me they look the least likely of the remaining teams to be able to shut down Liverpool’s front 3, and I think Liverpool’s high press would cause them some issues.
I’m glad somebody is doing this reporting, but man Lauren do you do a lot of it. If I were you I’d need a breather every once in a while. You’re doing amazing work!
“Best” is subjective. This season Salah has earned that spot. And bought a defender for 78-some-odd million quid. Not exactly penny-pinching there, and there hasn’t been a noticeable drop in quality since the effective swap of playmaker for defender.
One year at a large international corporation where I worked that has since gone under, we got a tearpad of coupons to a local fast food chain as a bonus. Good times.
I said Real Madrid won’t make it past the semis. They’re in the quarters right now.
That was an amazing goal.
At some point they’re gonna have to stem the bleeding. When they’re ready, I’ll be here with my $10 a month in hand. Until then they get $0 a month because I cut the cord. Hopefully more people will cut the cord than new subscribers sign up for cable/satellite.
Just get it over with—cut out the middle man and charge $10/month to stream everything ESPN. I reckon a lot of people would pay for that.
Of the Europa League.
Confiscate the phones. It’s not rocket science, teachers.
Cops might as well drop the pretense and openly adopt the Judge Dredd mentality. Judge, jury, and executioner indeed. And to be so scared that a guy lying motionless after you shot him would spring back to life and shoot you as you approach him that you wait for the entire PD to show up before checking on him... just…
This would be a great discussion to follow if I knew what “IT” was.
+1 Patrick Ewing. The game was somehow more entertaining back then, even with (or maybe because of?) all the supposed ugliness of extra physical contact that was allowed in those days.
