Even one a year is one too many.
Even one a year is one too many.
Merchants and Marauders is way more complicated than Black Fleet. There’s room for both in one’s collection—I have both!
I actually knew before she started her final run she would win gold.
Kelly Clark did get screwed—should have been top 3 for sure. Happy for Arielle Gold to be the beneficiary of it though.
And keeping in check the emotions of knowing you’ve won gold and the distractions from all the congratulatory hugs. Amazing run.
Lord Protector of England, GOAT.
Just say ‘yes’ and we’ll move on.
In a way it’s reassuring to remember that there are dumb people everywhere.
Just waiting for this year’s Christin Cooper Bode Miller moment(s).
Everyone knows Americans lose interest when it’s not about them.
And the pitch makes three.
Pearl-clutching—it’s not just for old white ladies anymore.
Thank you, Milhouse.
I’m on board with anything that makes alliances and a passive stance more plausible as winning approaches, vs. just building a huge army and going scorched earth everywhere. I like pummeling my enemies into submission almost as much as the next guy, but I also want to be able to build peacefully and try to live in…
No, really?
Nobody is asking the important question: how can somebody wear Tennessee and Alabama garb at the same time? I’m sure that breaks a region-wide law in the south.
Well in England a studs-up challenge that could badly injure somebody is a red card and a 3 game ban, but spitting on somebody is a 6 game ban so... *shrug*
Do not underestimate the power of a big paycheck. If I were good enough to be snapped up by Chelsea at a young age knowing that I’d either sit on the bench or be loaned out like most young players there in exchange for a big payday, I honestly don’t know that I’d turn it down. Smart money is on going/staying somewhere…
I would be happy going back to the way it was back in the day, i.e. if a player is behind the last defender regardless of if he’s active/in play/whatever, call it offside. All this 1st phase, 2nd phase, influencing play nonsense just makes officials’ jobs harder.
Looks to me like Robertson is playing Lamela onside. It’s a hair’s width either way so I’m focusing on van Dijk’s dumb kick rather than whether Lamela should have been whistled offside because it’s an avoidable foul and something he should not have given the officials the chance to call.
