Oh, to have been a fly on the wall when the series of flips and cartwheels occurred that left her "face in the area I use to excrete the byproducts of metabolizing food". That would have been a moment.

I do the Jergen's thing too, and it helps add a little colour but without the cakey foundation look. I've never been able to find a cream drugstore blush I liked, but one thing I use as a blush is a great L'oreal lip balm in a watermelon shade. It adds a nice hit of pink to the cheeks, but it's lightweight and natural

This woman is clearly an artist, it appears that her daughter had fun posing for these photos, and they're pretty great. There are plenty of princesses, Barbies, etc. all over the place. I'm sure girls are practically bombarded with the Jasmines, Cinderellas, and Ariels on a constant basis. Nothing wrong with that, I

Let's not forget his other claim to fame, grabbing Taylor Swift's microphone in a highly bizarre manner, as she won her award (Nut job!) . I like to hold doors open for people, it's just a nice thing to do, and when people do it for me, I'm appreciative, and say so. My husband absolutely will not let me open a door if

Leftover homemade chili mac, brussels sprouts, my husband's awesome bread pudding with caramel sauce. Way too much chili mac was made last night, it'll be great for lunches, but this week was supposed to be me trying to make some bento style lunches, instead of hauling honking portions of pasta and meat to work. I'll

I know! My husband shaves once a week (Saturdays), and it's like Christmas Day, he's so scratchy after a couple of days of not shaving, I've had so many chin breakouts, and red, dry skin as a result of kissing on Thursdays, when it feels like acupuncture. My skin just can't handle scruffy kisses for long, even though

Exactly. The photo in the vote wasn't one of his best. This one would have won, I know it.

This was a very important story. Thanks for doubling my hump day laugh. Are these guys on valium? They're way calmer than any other animals I've seen wearing strange costumes. They seem to be ok with it, so I'm ok with it, too.

Cake and pie are fine, but I'm with you on the savoury pie thing. Chicken pot pie? That could possibly be my zombie apocalypse final homemade meal. Does chicken with dumplings count as a savoury cake? I'm voting it in.

I mention being Canadian because in Winnipeg we don't have a lot of reggae, soca, or cumbia clubs. We have some, I think, but the point is, I'd really be curious to see what goes on in places like this if I ever had the opportunity. But not if people think I'm just there to wreck their favourite song.

This post makes obvious that there continue to be so many tired, unkind, and inaccurate stereotypes embraced by those who don't seem to want to engage in a real conversation. These tend to really get in the way of meaningful discussion about real issues.

Spent two hours at the gym today with my best friend. I usually go to the gym at lunch hour, 3 or 4 times a week, and I use several of the weight machines there, but there are several that I've been too intimidated to try, afraid of embarrassing myself by sitting the wrong way on the seat, etc. Also, I never see any

OK, you may be right about The Tudors. I did find it entertaining, although it was certainly a bodice ripper, not so much an accurate historical portrait. I don't believe veneers had been invented back then, and you could tell the characters bathed regularly unlike their real counterparts.

I like these ones. The dark part of the frame balances with the lighter, so isn't as overwhelming as if the entire frame was dark. Don't know, they just seem to suit you best, in my humble opinion. I'd definitely get a pair of these.

I should mention, not judging dying the hair. I'm 45 and keep the grey hidden big time.

His hair was pretty good in Collateral, I'm sure he dies it, since he's at least 50. My husband and I were talking about that movie the other day, and agreed that we liked him best in that role, where he veers away from his more typical characters.

You don't think so? I thought he was super in The Tudors, better than Johnathan Rhys Meyers, who just walked around pouting all the time.

Totally agree, Henry Cavill is one beautiful man. He was so great in The Tudors (my favourite character), and his accent's delicious. I watched the trailer for Man of Steel, and he doesn't seem to have aged at all. I'm pretty surprised he's not more well known, since on top of being gorgeous, he's a really good actor.

I completely agree. Henry Cavill. He was one of the main reasons I watched The Tudors, he's just so beautiful, and the accent...yeah. I saw the trailer for Man of Steel, and he doesn't seem to be aging. I'm going to have to check of Count of Monte Cristo, I didn't know he was in it.

I can't wait to find out how these little Fuckers' lives were ruined by finding a haven in the United States. It doesn't sound like they were living in the margins of society. They found a place to live where they were able to (from witness accounts) live comfortably, succeed in sports, have friends, tweet, and enjoy
