Meanwhile, driveway salt gives the impression that you had just come from the outside and mistook your steak for the rug by the door. Good for those "Wow, this meat is so rare they had to salt the ice off it!" flavors.

The first, pre-talking-to-everyone part got me nervous that the humans wouldn't actually get to answer anything. It was a bit boring just watching a machine kick butt - it got a lot more interesting when it was a real competition. I appreciate all they're trying to do (I'm a programmer, even) but still rooting for the

That picture creeps me out, but thanks I think.

This calls for a group hug! *opens arms wide*

@jamtart: Yeee-up.. Been a bit depressed today because of it. I try to tell myself I'm fortunate enough to talk to him every day and not worry about things like those with military SOs, but still.

Welcome to the smartphone/Android/Galaxy S world! I've had a Fascinate for a few months and absolutely love it.

I've heard there are some nice princes in Nigeria that are willing to help you out.

You should add the #corrections tag to any you have to point out, that way they can be spotted. But yes, that was bugging me too.

Interesting idea, though I agree with Jake.

You know, I would gladly use just the Market - especially with browser viewing now - if they just let me skip selected updates. Could've sworn it was going to have this (in fact, have the feeling I've mentioned it to you already..) but seems to be missing for me.

Works for me running 2.1. I did have to remember to enable the dang thing though, but guess that's to be expected.

@flinx1: Oh wow, thanks! Bookmarked and I will definitely consult this when I need it. Now I just have to, you know, pick out the actual computer.

@Whitson Gordon: Oh, I hadn't thought of that, good point. With this script, think I'm going to officially start using AH full time now instead of for small things here or there.

@crazypills77: I would think staying home and doing things that you enjoy can also be refreshing.

Question to those who use AH: Do you have one master script that you just keep adding pieces to, or do you have a bunch of small ones running in the background? Seems like the first would be better, but I only know the basics of AH.

@flinx1: You make an excellent point - I only use it a few times a year as well, even less if you don't count formatting the HD. Thanks for the link - I'll check it out.

@l337_7r4d3r: Hm..you may also be able to backup all the apps (just the apps themselves), factory reset the phone, use her account to set stuff up, and reinstall the apps she would want. I'm not positive the phone would let you install apps from another account, but pretty sure it just saves the .apk's. It may not be

@flinx1: Thanks for the reassurance - and hadn't heard of TRIM, so thanks for that too!

@Shadow-Lurker: Yeah, I'm a bit iffy on it too really. Sounds like an interesting idea, but not sure I'd want to gamble that on my main computer. My current laptop uses ~216 (largest parts being my music collection, a good number of games, and software development programs), although I plan on doing more with the new

@undecim: Oh, I see. That's good to know at least, when I first heard about it I immediately wrote off SSDs for fear of losing something. Thanks for the information.
