@l337_7r4d3r: Not positive if this would work, but what about going to Settings > Accounts & sync > your Google account > Remove account?

So, still doing laptop research, I've been considering SSD vs HD. I also came upon a hybrid type (example: [www.newegg.com] ) that might be for me, since the amount of storage I'd like (at least 350, preferably 500+) would be way too expensive in an all-SSD, but the SS cache a hybrid drive uses could be nice. So

@Platypus Man: Works for me, although I had to change it to Sleep 500 because the window didn't open fast enough to catch the shortcuts. Tweaked it a bit for myself (I'd rather just have ctrl-t), but it works beautifully. Thanks to you and Whitson!

@Croebh: Hey, go for it! I'm a CompE major, so I don't exactly focus on design. If it'd be helpful to you, you can download the .odt file from the link below. Or I can format it to something else if you'd prefer.

@mark: Arg, you're right. That's what I get for not double-checking. Too late to edit, though.

@AngryFork: Well, I haven't done real complex coding yet (not much of games, AI, ect.) but the only math-ish thing I can think of is arrays and modulus/remainder. Although I suppose you could consider discrete math as well*, but that's hardly something you need to take a class in. Granted, I mostly work in Java or

@AngryFork: Honestly - yes, I find programming fun. The process of thinking "Hm..I want to do __", look up how to do it from examples online, personalize it to exactly what you want, and finally see it working is a great feeling for me.

@Arggh! there goes a...snake a snake!: Honestly with programming, once you learn the basics in one language (variables, arrays, loops, ifs, ect.) you can easily pick up another - it's just a matter of how to do what you want in the new language. Granted that's over-generalized a bit (scripting languages would be

Happy Birthday Lifehacker!

I was bored - so PDF version for you lucky people! All sections are included, I did my best to format it the same as the site. Don't worry Adam, I gave you credit. I'm uploading it as a pdf, but if you have any other format requests, just say so, it's originally in .odt. Enjoy!

One that's missing for me is one leg tucked in (like cross-legged) while the other is still straight. Mostly for playing shooters where I need the room on the right of me for the mouse.

A few extra things I'm gonna throw out there:

Alright, so looking at this Tor site - to help the people of Egypt, should I be setting up "Relay traffic for the Tor network" or "Help censored users reach the Tor network"? I know it seems obvious, but still not sure what to do after turning it on.

@hj85d3g: I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that.

@Unionhawk: One project that I learned at the beginning of my programming classes is one I'm still fond of: A little program that has a small database (you could hardcode this, or for an added level of difficulty read it from a file) of people, addresses, phone numbers, and blood type. You then told the program the

@motoxer4533: Woohoo, I'm an idiot that can't search properly!

Is there any way for me to tell Firefox to open mailto: links in a new tab in gmail (preferably to the Create New Mail part), instead of my default email client?

@ddmeightball: Hm..interesting. Not that I follow it religiously, but every time I've F5ed it's shown up. Even caught a glimpse of the BoC - you sure it's not your program?

It's also a Woot Off day.
