I also noticed last time I placed an order that instead of video credit, I could get $1 book/eBook credit, which is a lot more attractive to me. Maybe the type is dependent on your order history.

The Stack Exchange universe has a fun Unicorn Coin system in place. Plus Guild Wars 2 has all characters, including NPCs, monsters, and bosses in bobblehead form.

I got a Lunette because apparently I'm particularly small - still had to turn it inside out to be comfortable. But as others said, it's very much an individual thing. That livejournal is also where I learned about them, it's very helpful.

Since no one's mentioned it yet: I highly recommend trying a menstrual cup if you're not too squeamish about it. It's like only having a period during the couple of times a day you empty it! And I've never once leaked after using it.

Wow, perfect timing! Fifteen days left on my trial and I have been debating if I felt it was worth spending the 65 bucks (including the app). Cutting it down to $25 makes that easy.

If you block javascript on wikipedia it still works. Didn't even notice when they first started the protest until a friend pointed it out. Yay NoScript!

Ah, you're right - sorry for misreading. And third-ed, that's a lot of information riding on a single login.

Love these as well, though we fill them with dried corn (Shocker: I'm from Ohio). We can also microwave them in the winter, or if you have a sore neck or something. The one thing to be careful about is that I remember having to microwave it a few times to get rid of any bugs in the corn; not sure if it'd be the same

I agree with Ben, it isn't really necessary yet, but LookOut is a good option. Since the apps that were malware were typically something like "Hot sexy babes" from a dev in china, they would stick out some from others. Plus as always, look at an app's permissions to see if there are any that don't make sense.

I believe they're still doing both. When it was posted last week, they (Adam, I think) said it was just forgotten the week before, and should still have both.

I can almost understand it if you're buying apps with it and don't have other options, but yeah it's still a bad idea. It's even more "doesn't feel like real money" than credit cards to me.

If you're using Android, DoggCatcher does do this. Granted there may be others, but I'm positive it does.

VOTE: DoggCatcher

I didn't try the app myself, but threw the apk on dropbox for anyone who wants it. [dl.dropbox.com]

I have an '05 Chevy Malibu Maxx with a stock radio. For the past few years, I've listened to my own music with an old iPod and FM transmitter, but 1) It always has some level of static in it 2) There tends to be quite a lot of interference, both random and from other people doing the same thing, and 3) I'd like to

Oh dang, wow.. I will admit I'm a bit overwhelmed by the third paragraph, though. For the time being, I threw on the latest Ubuntu desktop edition on it (because I didn't know some of the setup settings for server). But your Debian idea is interesting (though I'm still a bit cautious of the command line). The one

@Marand: Wow - very nice specifics there, I appreciate it. After thinking about it, think I'll just throw it on my old laptop then, it should meet the specs you described. I'd run it on my new laptop (I'm sure it's plenty able to) but I'd like the server to be running all the time, since people play at various times.

I'm looking to buy hosting for a small Minecraft server - less than ten people, probably less than five. Is there a difference between the hosting options posted on their forums vs 'normal' site hosting like Dreamhost? Any recommendations?
