They’ve already adapted “The Invaders” (this radio dramatization has existed for a long time now - I love them!).

Makes me think of Patsy Stone’s passport photo -
It would be great if she didn’t promote a racist agenda. Therefore, she stinks and isn’t a role model.
I loved Doakes. His empty funeral was so sad.
The opening to Bosom Buddies is full of tiny man shorts
I agree with you that the book is horrible and unreadable. All the “oh, CRAPs!,” “laters, babys” and “inner goddesses” make me want to hurl. Try as I might, I can’t get through the books.
Mark “Hate Crime” Wahlberg is a huge star.
You probably missed the reactions to Nicki Minaj’s complaints about the VMAs. She was painted as an angry bitch hurting poor sweet Taylor Swift’s feelings. How about the reaction to the beloved Oprah’s complaint about not being served appropriately at a luxury retail store? Oprah, who makes or breaks brands just by…
This version would have made their heads totally explode. Plus part of it is in Spanish!
Dave Franco is hot though.
Believe me - I TOTALLY agree with you. When Shirley Maclaine does it - she’s a hero mom. If she were a black woman, she’d be a thug terrifying the hospital staff and police would be called to brutalize her on top of her terror about the condition of her daughter.
I just watched this yesterday on a transatlantic flight. I really enjoyed it, and particularly Rick Springfield. I also really noted that fiancee, who is really different for Hollywood.
Black people die more often from diseases because their ailments aren’t taken as seriously. Regardless of income.
Crying wolf as a hypochondriac? Or maybe the hospital staff lacks empathy for black people, as studies have shown that they do, and failed to treat her adequately.
I was vaguely disappointed by the ending. I felt it was too pat and soapy, and there’s nowhere important to go from here.
The cover artwork doesn’t mean anything. YA books often whitewash covers for characters that are canonically not white.
I completely disagree wth your take on this. Barring some extreme disfunctional relationship- the daughter is acting like an entitled monster to not give her parent the barest level of respect and politeness by responding to her. If she can’t bear the mom so much, and the daughter’s an adult, then she’s not entitled…
Team Adnan Did It.
I just want to know if there will be a return of Idris Elba as Hilton.
