Yeah, the theories behind Majora's Mask are completely out there, and no way of really confirming them. So barring any clarity from Nintendo (the Hyrule Historia doesn't cover it at all), I choose to stick to the one in the manga lol.

lol thank you, I was running short on interenets lately. Really though, everyone should read the Zelda Mangas, they were pretty good. The idea was from the supplemental manga at the end of the Majoras Mask volume, I just stylized it to a folktale like form, and then filled in the gaps.

Yuppers, it was a Filler, non canon type thing at the end of the Majoras Mask tankoubon. It's the closest thing we got to an origin for the mask.

Seriously, I'd rather have this than the swimming anime show up. Usually anything associated with Gainax (or its former staff) is hit or miss with me, this was definitely a hit, and I'm all for Trigger getting this as a series. I'd watch the hell out of it.

Oddly enough, I just saw an article about something like this for the iPhone called the Zeus and Hera i think. The basic premise for these, rather than being for interactive games, was for couples separated by a considerable distance, to allow them to have relations by responding to things like motion and pressure.
