I remember someone posted on another article, they passed out and woke up to find a prayer circle around them. No one thought to call 911 or get a doctor. The poster was okay but what if the hadn’t been?

Thanks. I will be needing this gif for the rest of the election season.
Ah, catfishing. Starts out as a lark, something fun to do while you’re bored, and then next thing you know you’re in England wearing a wool hat and a strap-on.
I wish my family had been open about grandma’s drinking, dad’s drinking, cousin’s meth habits....not that it would have prevented my addiction. But it wouldn’t have hurt to have brought awareness. Denial is destructive, and the truth would have explained a lot of things that, instead, just left me angry and ashamed…
My father died because of alcoholism, sometimes my brother drinks his feelings and then I worry. I don’t drink.
My one cousin died from complications of drug and alcohol addiction. At his funeral, no one talked about his addiction issues. Even now no one in his family talks about it. If they did, it would also mean talking about my aunt’s drinking.
You know how Behind Closed Ovens’ header images make you hungry for whatever food is in it?
It is all about who the money goes to. Workers = bad. Shareholders = good.
amen to that. it's particularly sad that most of America doesn't even see that connection...
I have heard that so many times. The best argument against it that I have heard is simply, “If you think fast food workers [or anyone really] shouldn’t get $15 an hour because you don’t get paid that much then guess what? You’re probably being underpaid, too!”
I’m in that boat with ya. I really don’t get why people who make close to $15/hr or just above it give so much of a damn if other people besides themselves can actually buy food and pay bills without counting value of food by ounces/calorie ratios. I work an office job, have an MA, and I’ve been brute force applying…
There’s this idea, that’s never said, but basically some professional people (like myself) don’t make $15, so why should some dumb burger flipper?
Regardless, if your business doesn’t make enough money to pay your employees a living wage, then it is not a very good business, and deserves to go broke.
Do they mean “Kenyan” as in “Swahili”? Because according to good old (FUCKING FREE, EASY TO FIND) Google Translate, black power = nguvu nyeusi.
THE CAPTION
I would do anything for meatloaf, but I won’t do that.
NOTE 1: You’ll wanna wear a lower cut shirt for this look; the lines on your neck and collarbones really help sell…
