Picasa does this almost on-the-fly...and for me, all my photos are already there, so it skips the upload/download step.

[fix] Double-posted your quote Mr. Pash =]

Upgrading my wifey's lappy Saturday. Upgraded mine last month.

@echo off: Was going to say the same as platypus. I prefer Puppy linux, but there are many flavors to choose from

I've used GBridge of late. It's pretty simple and downloads/syncs pause/resume flawlessly (as in, one side goes to standby, and no file corruption happens after resume and completion of the sync).

@Danv18: I've thought about tethered, but won't you have a problem when installing Cydia Apps? Don't you have to be tethered every time it soft boots?

Yeah, I would like to use Twitter, but not as many of my cohorts use it. If Buzz took off, I'm sure there would be a bigger following for me...and a bigger draw.

@Senethior459: I believe the distinction is the updated 'base-band'. If I understand correctly, the newer iPhone 3GS' have it, as well as the iPod Touch 3G (32GB & 64GB), have been updated by Apple to block jailbreaking on these models . You can do a tethered JB, but that is a pain in the patoot if you ask me.

[sniffles]

@Phoshi: I second that. I think the XP taskbar is horrid. The alternative I turn to when forced not to use an XP machine is to run object dock, and use the ObjectDock Tray v2.1 docklet. This little guy comes in handy, as you can run multiple docklets and specify which tray icons show up in each instance.

@choaticwhisper: Yeah, I included my settings for comparison. It could also depend on how your OS level settings are set, a function of the two, if you know what I mean.

Smoothwheel (AMO) FTW

@NefariousNewt: Same boat here. I have a Touch, which I love profusely, but it can fit in my pocket.

For whatever reason, I seem to be more productive with more screens, rather than larger ones.

@ahet: Ask and you shall receive:

This does work, but not always, and usually doesn't work more than twice.

This is a great idea, just be careful, as sand is very abrasive when any pressure is applied. For instance, if you picked up your awkward item, and had some sand in your hands, and started spinning it around...you could be sorry.

I too am surprised that AVG won...especially given the LH audience. I'd think that the population at large would go for AVG, but not LH'rs #antivirus
