“At this point, Mnuchin has overplayed his hand but the problem is there’s really no system to hold him accountable.”

Haven’t seen it mentioned here, but Home Depot has a big sale on pretty much all of Ryobi’s One+ cordless tool line.

Occam’s Razor: If the 22.7 Mbps above is actually 22.7 MBps (megabyte instead of megabit), all three results would be in line. 22.7 x 8 = 181.6.

I assume that the pickup’s engine found its way into a riding mower?

Now I have a hankering for butter chicken, dammit... I used to make it pretty regularly using a jarred simmer sauce from Target’s “Archer Farms” label that was extremely tasty, but they’ve since discontinued it. I freaking loathe cilantro, though, so that’s staying out no matter what.

Check your local library. A lot of them now have a dropoff for single-use batteries (they’ll ask you to put tape on the ends to prevent sparking). Some municipal buildings have them, too.

Wasn’t the *very* first thing that the Dems did after Obama won in 2008 was to deliberately dismantle the GOTV apparatus and the fifty-state strategy that got him elected? The entrenched players liked things the way they were, and Howard Dean got fucked over afterwards for doing something different and succeeding (look

When my overly-intelligent, easily-bored cat decides that I’m not paying enough attention to him, he’ll pull the drain stoppers out of the bathroom sinks and noisily bat them around. If that doesn’t work, he’ll move on to banging cabinet doors. He sits in front of one, latches his claws over the top, leans back to

This *ingredient list* is handy and all, but maaaaaybe don’t leave out all of the instructions? Cheesecake is finicky when it comes to the order you add the ingredients and how long you mix them for.

Nah, their death cult is very much *pro* Armageddon, and think it’s their heavenly duty to help it along. That’s specifically why they keep throwing gasoline on the situation in Israel. They *want* to ignite WW3 so White Jesus will appear.

They really only care about Leviticus 20:13. (And are careful to not let their eyes drift down to 20:10, lest they start having doubts about their god-king, Trump.)

Important clarification — she *didn’t* post bail. She signed a “signature bond,” which is basically a pinky swear to appear in court in lieu of actually paying bail like some common serf. No money changed hands. That $250,000 number they keep quoting is BS.

There’s a documentary on PBS called The Last Days of Jesus that goes into the Roman political in-fighting that was going on at the time. Very interesting stuff.

Speaking from experience, it’s actually *really* difficult to proofread your own work. You’re so familiar with it that your brain fixes any errors before they can register on a conscious level. You have to trick your brain into thinking it’s new material. What works for me is to start at the end of the piece and go

Occam’s Razor. I assume it’s because the letter “e” is “ee” when spoken aloud.

If there’s a pair like considerable/considerably, yeah, you’re almost certainly gonna see the writer opt to end it in -e. Invariably (see what I did there?) younger writers.
