When I bought my first house, I opted for a pre-qualification letter as opposed to a pre-approval letter. Sellers were ok with it. Note that I only had to do a soft pull for a pre-qual letter vs a hard pull for a pre-approval.

In Florida and other humid climates, you need to run the AC to remove the humidity. Anything above 60% humidity starts to get uncomfortable. (It’s 81% RH outside right now)

I task my kid with the wheels. Soft cloth, not easily damaged finish on the wheel.

I agree, not a fan of the layout at all. Especially when it comes to comments.

I’ve been a part of the team receiving a roughly 175' long part. The skill of the driver and entire team was insane. Getting it into our building was a challenge, but the trucking team made it look like a piece of cake. I have a huge respect for truck drivers.

With interest rates now, that’s a $200k mortgage payment. I know plenty of places where you can buy $200k houses.

I work with a bunch of well paid people. At least half of them need way more help with their budget than you think and those are just the people that talk about it.

This is by design. You could be staring at a guard rail 1000 ft away about to take a curve in the road to avoid it. This issue is mentioned in the article.

They actually announced today that we will have the option to change FSA and DCFSA contributions through end of June.

I just went through our dependent care FSA calculation over the weekend. If school’s open back up on time in the fall, we will meet our contribution by $40. We are transitioning from full day care to school after care only, so our expenses are dropping drastically (yay).

I agree with you. I picked up the Bosch 12V impact driver and drill/driver combo kit featured here a few weeks ago. I’ve got 20V Dewalt and a corded hammer drill for when I need power, but the Bosch setup will do 99% of what homeowners ask of it and much easier to handle than the bigger stuff.

They’ve got tons of top trim Pacifica limitedes in Florida. They’re $21k for 2018s that stickered at 45k.

We’ve had 3 vacations cancelled/moved, so we’ve got a bit in that fund. I’m debating doing a few house projects or banking the money for now, possibly to apply to vacations next year (we’ve got refundable trips for summer and Christmas 2021 planned).

I agree, but a lot of buyers (including us) have car seats hiding the uncomfortable seats.

We’re a minivan family, currently have a Pacifica, previously had a Sienna.

The stow and go seats in the Pacifica are pretty terrible. There is practically no padding. Good thing ours have car seats in them.

I cannot emphasize enough to make a budget you don’t hate and give yourself some freedom.

Note that several banks will provide free checks on higher tier checking accounts. Most of these accounts have fees or high minimum balances.

Sorry for the long post...

Thanks for the reminder. I will be doing this whenever my refund from my summer cruise as long as NCL doesn’t go bankrupt before then.
