I’ve only found 3 recipes so far (2/3rd through the game) and two of them were in the first mainland town. Kind of a bummer since they help. Case in point, I always use one of the cooked food items before bosses for an EXP boost and HP boost

Glad to see the random Ferrell Edmunds shoutout. He actually coaches my alma mater high school football team right now. How’s that for random.
I find that my mother is a picky eater and shoots down most any restaurant I can suggest (my dad doesn’t care where we go). My hometown has rather homogenized restaurants (i.e. fast food) and I find that when on vacation my relatives (particularly older ones) generally do not like to steer out of their comfort zone…
This actually happened to me, flying for my grandfather’s funeral last August. Took public transit to the airport and put the license in my pants pocket with my phone for easy retrieval while in the TSA line, but when I pulled out my phone to text, I didn’t realize my license slipped out of my pocket too. A couple…
Resuming Wild Arms after a 3-week hiatus, currently starting the Maze of Death. Did manage to beat Grow Home during that hiatus.. quite a charming game.
Since I finished Ep 4 of Tales from the Borderlands last night, I suppose I’ll hop into Ep 5 this weekend. I’m kind of getting the itch to start Wild Arms, which I bought on PSN 3-ish years ago.
I was checking out the fan translation patch, but my PS3 has long been updated beyond the version they require, and I’m not really willing to buy one with v3.55 on eBay. I have sort of gotten into a rhythm of translating as I play. This is what I use here ->
I had that issue a month ago with FF13-2, which I had last played almost 4 years prior. Didn’t know where I was or what I was doing. So I ended up biting the bullet and throwing away 30 hrs of gameplay to start fresh, which is tough to do. At least I beat the game this go-round :-)
Eh, considering ToV doesn’t really have episodes I kind of deduced you meant Borderlands :-D
I really need to pick Rogue Galaxy back up. Got burnt out when I last played it and I think I’m at a boss fight, which isn’t the best place to pick back up haha.
I think I’m gonna do Tales from the Borderlands then. Just realized that either way, I was gonna be playing a “Tales” game regardless haha.
Trying to decide if I want to start up Episode 4 of Tales from the Borderlands, or continue my game of Tales of Vesperia. Normally it would be an easy choice to go with ToV but I have the PS3 JP version, but I have to be in the right mood to play since I have to alternate between the game and Japanese-to-English text…
Also if there are multiple locations with the same city name, I’m not entirely sure how you access the one you want. For example, I was trying my old stomping grounds of Richmond, VA and fingering richmond@graph.no took me to British Columbia. Tried richmondva@graph.no and it took me to the Vale Islands, which I…
I’m guessing this would only apply if I am looking for a new apartment. Because I’m pretty sure my apartment’s management company here in Baltimore is not going to lower my rent by 0.7% haha. They’ll probably still increase the rent claiming it’s to reflect current market value or something like that.
So, since there was a turnover, does Russell get credited with a steal? Either way, that’s some good ball handling by him.
I’ve got the same goal of 12-books this year, though I think I’m gonna try to squeeze in a couple of longer books in that goal, which I normally tend to shy away from. My plan is to try and read a chapter or marked section of a book on my Kindle every day, and read a chapter from a paperback as well on the weekends.
Cu…
Essentially.
Whenever I play, I’m looking at various menus and screens for the info, and answering issues that need my attention, but I keep feeling I should be conquering on a consistent basis. Is it better to be proactive regarding these things, or reactive? Is it ok or even recommended to have long stretches of time…
One hangup I’ve been having with the game (still very much a noob) is how often am I supposed to be taking actions? I know this is probably a variable answer, but should I be doing them on a in-game daily basis, monthly basis, or yearly basis? Feels like if I’m doing too many things at once it blows up in my face, but…
in the snow!
Went to the CAA basketball tournament in Baltimore last March, and Rick Barry’s son, who plays for College of Charleston, actually was shooting his FTs underhanded. At the time I didn’t even know he was Rick Barry’s kid, until some CofC parent told me. It was awesome just watching it.
