www.skorarunning.com is their site, and they also sell older colors/models on Amazon as well. I had never heard of them up til a couple years ago when I saw someone wearing an awesome blue pair in a 5k, and I had to inquire.

I second the idea of utilizing the pace groups if they are available. I recently did a 12-mile race where I didn’t really do enough training long runs, and hung with the pace group that was supposed to finish 2 minutes ahead of my goal finishing time. I knew that I probably couldn’t hang with them for the entire run,…
Some of us just don’t have that option. I’m living in a big city with no car and about 50% of my salary goes towards rent. It sucks and isn’t ideal, but it’s just something I have to work around when budgeting.
Walking in the Inner Harbor here in Bmore, I’ve come within inches of having a front tire smack me in the face from a youth popping wheelies (bicycle tire, not dirt bike tire fortunately). I’m all for extreme riding and stunts, but performing such stunts in congested areas (both foot traffic and vehicle traffic) puts…
As someone who had FF4-6 and Chrono Trigger on PS1 during the actual system’s life cycle, the loading screens didn’t bother me too bad, and still don’t. But that Faris pirate accent though...
Agreed, I already had it on GBA (and an actual FF Anthology copy), but it’s getting rather hard for me to see the text on the small screens of a handheld and I’d rather not use emulation. Yet I had to scratch that itch to play it, somehow haha.
And I just bought the crappy PS1 port on a recent PSN sale too V_V
I used to play Mario is Missing quite often as a kid. So much, that I would start speedrunning it out of boredom.
Oddly enough I’ve always taken longer to write in cursive than in non-cursive. This goes all the way back to my school days where both were obviously learned. Maybe it’s just a “me” thing.
Nintendo World Cup. You got to “kill” other players with your slide tackles (or at least I thought of it that way as a kid)

I need to get back into kickball again here in Bmore. I’ve been doing bocce ball leagues here for the longest time instead. Thinking I may go for the beer-in-hand kickball league haha.
In 6th grade, it was just me and a 7th grader left (btw he was the alternate for his class). He misspelled his word so all I had to do was spell mine right to win. The word was “symptom” and I got a case of the yips and left out the first “m”. So it goes back to him, and he gets “trapezoid”, spells it right and wins…
I have to fly Delta on Friday and Monday. I immediately regret my decision
I have this with many games. I have no problem running games in 1920x1080 but oftentimes have to bump the resolution down just to read the text. I’m starting to notice it in console games too, and it’s such a turn-off for me playing the game, which is a shame.
I exceed certain areas of my budget consistently on a monthly basis, but I don’t really fret over it that much. I budget with the mindset that I’m getting 2 paychecks a month, but in reality my biweekly pay schedule allows for 26 paychecks (2 per month plus 2 months with an extra paycheck). So maybe I actually have…
I bought it ages ago but admittedly I’m kind of intimidated. Did the basic tutorials but I guess the perfectionist in me just gets overwhelmed after that. Definitely need to give it another go though.

You’re probably thinking of the Pratt St Ale House. Pretty good place, but can get quite busy before O’s games.
