In my opinion, it's definitely better to wean yourself off of a spending habit instead of going cold-turkey, if it's possible to do so.

About a year and change ago (pun intended), I got YNAB an noticed that I was spending an obscene amount of money on eating out. It was close to $300-$350 a month and that was just for myself. Over the months though, I started to fine-tune my YNAB budget, shifting money around when more expenses needed to be added,…
This post seems to resonate well with me right now. I've always been lacking in self-esteem and confidence due to being overweight, relatively unathletic, and having vision issues (always having to wear thick glasses). Never asked anyone out, nor went on any dates in high school or college as a result (though I did…
Wait! Since when did Brady Quinn become a color analyst?
I will not eat just plain pizza crust so I usually strategize beforehand. When eating pizza I usually munch on it up to the point where there is maybe an inch or two of saucy bread left (cheese sometimes is there, sometimes it isn't). That way I can take a sideways approach and get the crust and the saucy good part…
And if you wanted to try your hand at some threes, you had Muggsy in the mix as well on the Tournament Edition
NBA Jam: TE version of the Hornets were nearly unstoppable, since you had the trio of Grandmama, 'Zo, and Muggsy.
I just finished Tales of Xillia 2 a couple days ago. Now I'm resuming Dragon Age 2, hoping to ideally finish before DA: Inquisition comes out. On the side, I'm doing some Borderlands 2 DLC, and some RPG Maker game called Deadly Sin 2 that I got from the Humble Bundle in June
Totally agree. Story was kind of weak but I didn't mind the linear nature of it so much, and I did feel satisfied after I beat it.
So I bought a 6-pack of Yuengling Oktoberfest the other week thinking it would be OK (because Oktoberfest beers are awesome), but all I got was the same exact regular Yuengling slapped on with a different label sticker. Sigh.
Having moved away from North Carolina a few years ago, I've been extremely excited to hear that Cheerwine is going nationwide sometime around 2017. Just counting the days off on my calendar.
I heard a rumor that Sega was going to release the 3 VC games as an HD collection on the PS4. Again, just a rumor though.
I was playing Rogue Galaxy last year but ended up getting burned out on it. I need to resume playing it, since I did enjoy it, but I think the fluctuating difficulty spikes got to me a bit (was in the mine area after getting Deego).
I'm currently 3 years in at my current job in bioinformatics. I currently work at a university and qualify for the public sector student loan forgiveness program (loans forgiven after 10-years of on-time payments). I'm quite open to changes in the future if the opportunities present themselves but the loan…
Funny thing. I read it the same way and was on my way here to post that!
I don't have a problem with it. I don't own a PS4 as a disclaimer but if I did, if I'm not playing a game or if I have a relative/friend that wants to play or try it out, I certainly don't mind either a) watching them stream it or b) going off to do something else (my personal life doesn't necessarily revolve around…
I think I just had bad timing in terms of moving in. Had two weeks to move in between getting the job offer and actually starting work, so I didn't have adequate time to really do research on neighborhoods, etc. Plus, in the late summer, many places were already filled, so I essentially took the first place I could…

I was at that game too actually but my friend and I left as soon as we saw the nasty radar report on our phones.
Went to an Orioles game a couple-years ago that was in rain-delay, and they showed the Baseball Bugs episode as well. Definitely a classic.
