Looking forward to it. Only thing that I'm worried about is the potential for winter storms screwing with my flight since I'm coming in from Baltimore (yes I know PAX East is closer haha).

Got my PAX South weekend pass :-) Will be my first PAX event, and the first time I get to visit Texas

Perl has its uses, especially if one is doing lots of text processing/manipulation work. The bioinformatics field, for example, loves to use Perl (granted Python is a popular second choice). Though I will say that it's probably not the best language for a first-time programmer as one can develop some nasty

Then again, there's also some evidence to consider that suggests that summer training is difficult because you think it will be difficult. But tell me that after I shuffle home from a track workout in the sun and I might throw you out of my living room window.

You only get 5 specials per half, and the CPU gets unlimited. Plus Argentina's special has 100% accuracy (will destroy your own goalie). That's the real issue with playing them.

A thousand times yes! Still wish I had some skill to actually beat Argentina.

I'm pretty much scared to wear gray shirts to the office now because of the automatic flusher going off because of the grayish paint for the stall walls. This is a godsend of a tip.

Maybe it's just me and possible lack of cooking experience, but it's hard for me to imagine the top row for egg substitutions working. "Let's bake a cake but use mashed potatoes instead"

I was fortunate to start with minimalist/barefoot running when I actually started to get into running in the first place. Because I was a beginner there was no "changing my form" issue that I had to worry about. In the end, I think choosing between styles is kind of like choosing between roller skates and

I'm a fan of shoes from Vivobarefoot. Kind of expensive on their site, but you see them on sale all the time on Amazon and LeftLaneSports.

I'm the same way, since my dad has the same first name as me (but a different middle name). I've debated on doing the first initial thing but I always feel that naming format gives an air of being stuck-up.

Definitely curious to see what the persistent people got as a reward though.

I caught about 75 or so but just got too burnt out to catch the rest, especially when it got to the point where every new place I looked would have a Pokemon that I already had (and I was too lazy to look up locations).

So what's the best character length for a Lifehacker comment to get the most engagement?

Now they just need the original Backyard Baseball. Played the hell out of that as a kid

When I was in 6th grade I was playing kickball during recess with my classmates. I was on 1st base and we were at bat (is it "at bat" if you are playing "kickball"?). The kicker puts the ball into the play, and I'm heading to 2nd. Without warning, I suddenly hurl chunks all over the place, and play just stops and

That's understandable. Personally I probably couldn't watch a single movie in a single sitting so breaking it up into 2 discs isn't a dealbreaker for me. Neither is having extra features on DVD, since I'm not exactly looking to be wowed by the graphics of extra features and the like.

Picked up that LotR: Extended Edition, and some chapstick. Love how I always buy the most random combination of items on Amazon.

In a way, a turn-based RPG kind of works for Angry Birds since each bird has their own identity.

My mother, at the age of 50 last year, got called for jury duty for the first time. Funny thing is... I got called last year before she did at the age of 26. Then again I live in a larger metro city, and she lives in a rather rural area, so the frequency of getting called is very favorable towards me.
