One of the high schools in the county I was raised in, in Virginia, had one of the state's longest all-time losing streaks in football in the 90s at 44 games, and in less than a decade ended up having one of the state's longest all-time football winning streaks at 38.

My relatives have made ice cream without one, and they were so much happier after I gifted them the ice cream maker. One tip is that you will want to freeze the included bucket overnight before making some ice cream to make sure the ice cream doesn't melt too quickly.

My grandfather is an accountant and once had a client named Evan Evans

My goal in life is to meet people with these names now

I think when THQ had the rights, it was a $40 preorder on Amazon. I was actually able to use a 25% off promo code to make my preorder price under $33 when I preordered in Oct '12. Glad I stuck with that preorder :-D

I agree. Quality-wise it's mediocre, but it succeeds in the one thing that I value: fun. I've been having competitions with my friends, coworkers, family, etc. trying to one-up the other people's scores.

I'm doing the Four in February challenge, which I did last year as well. Goal is to do Costume Quest and DLC (complete), Spryo: Year of the Dragon (in progress), Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and Heavy Rain.

Not sure if I can get to them all with my busy schedule this month but at least I'll have some backlog cleared

I received a guitar for Christmas one year in high school, but never really got into any serious learning. The uphill battle part was very discouraging, since I could read music already, and I have rather small hands with fat fingers, which makes it hard to finger chords. To this day I'd still like to learn.

Thank you. You beat me to the punch in posting that. Lando Calrissian also thinks it's too low (major kudos points to anyone who likes YTMND)

Guess I should have mentioned that kickball is only half the league. We have flip cup tournaments afterwards that also count towards the overall standings :-D

Totally agree with Meetup. Not only have I met some great people in my social running group, it's gotten me to stay motivated and stay in shape as well :-)

I just joined a social kickball league, and it's definitely been a blast so far. Where most of the teams in our league retained people from previous years, my team is pretty much consisting of free-agent signups, which is great since we all end up getting to meet new people.

True, I completely forgot about that and the notes that people can place about things they ordered.

Kirilenko originally wanted AK-47 as his nickname for that game but NBA doesn't like having a gun model on the back of a jersey apparently. So that's why he went with the original spelling of his name instead.

As a sort-of beginner runner (little more than a year under me), I feel kind of silly, in hindsight, buying and using a cheap Camelbak when training for my half-marathon last year. Then again I justified it as good for me at the time, because 1) I was worried about running out of water using a standard water bottle

Finishing up Tales of Xillia. Also playing Gran Turismo 6. Going to start another RPG from my backlog sometime this month, either Chrono Cross, Ni No Kuni, or just continue Breath of Fire 4.

Guess I'll share mine too. I probably forgot a few to boot.

Tried it and it doesn't work for me. When it's time to go to bed, I end up moving the laundry to the couch, and when it's time to lounge on the couch, I end up moving them to the bed.

What works for me, though, is to go put away my clean laundry during TV commercial breaks. When the break ends, I stop and then resume

While Java was the first language I learned (college course), the first language I really extensively learned was Perl. Even though my knowledge isn't as extensive with it, I'm quite thankful for the foundation that Java gave me, since it is very easy to get into bad programming habits using Perl due to the
