Don’t go around questioning the Tesla narrative! Elon is the second coming of Edison and Tesla combined, everything they do is genius! Believe him and this statement, damnit!

Agreed on all points there

Of course they are.  The point isn’t that a race team is taking the rules to the limit, it’s the manner in which they are doing it.  With regulations really tying the car designs down, it gets increasingly harder to find differences in your design vs. others.  To have something this radically different despite all of

A motor racing team is interpreting the rules creatively.

A female team isn’t a gimmick entirely, but having a female team because they are female is a gimmick.

I understand the gravity behind the situation, I think. But isn’t fielding an exclusively female team the definition of a gimmick?

Interesting that you should have chosen the HJ Premier as one of the feature photos, as earlier today I watched an old review which lambasted it and at the end warned that the sort of thinking behind it may spell the end for Holden.

My buddy laments the death of the Holden brand he has one of the few US legal LHD utes.

Privately owned family business... They can do whatever they want re: politics... “The arrangement fundamentally means that the family can utilize the sport’s name in any political machination they see fit.” Solution? Don’t watch the pre-race...

I’m sorry, but as someone who has owned two utes (see my avatar), the decision to put that nose on a Commodore was the beginning of the end for me. It is not an appealing face in general (to me) - BMW does the nostril look so much better. Take this with a grain of salt as I’m probably just biased.

Asia is developing a middle class, yes, but it’s not like the middle class of America as you are likely thinking. And even if it is, it’s more like the 1950s middle class boom we had, where the majority of sales of vehicles was of more basic models, with a price around 75% of annual income. Compare that to Asia today,

That’s just a rebadged Opel though. And as of right now, they’re still making Astras, so a new VXR is still conceivable.

Pretty sure it was the horrific exchange rates that killed Holden’s exports, not tariffs.

The loss of Holden is sad, but it was already a husk of its former self. It reminds me alot of seeing Pontiac killed off. It was a great brand that made some legendary cars but like most things that Mystique GM touches, it eventually withers and dies. Kudos to Ford Australia for tweeting a very classy farewell,

Neutral: Isn’t FCA already in fourth place?

No. 90% of all female cast movies are junk because they celebrate being a female cast. And secondly this franchise has run its course, making further movies in effort to check off an all female cast on an already way over done franchise as a whole.

Came to post the same. That movie made like 7s of dollars...

Nothing, absolutely nothing. And when I say nothing, I mean everything.

What could go wrong?
