I can’t believe so many people didn’t pay attention in grade school physics. In 5 years we were never going to meet those fleet averages.

Law makers think they can defy the laws of physics. This legislation wasn’t technically Obama’s, but Bush’s that got pushed into the next administration.

The only way I can fathom

You’re wacky and a very stupid guy. Don’t believe what you read in the failing Jalopnik.

Hillary would have completely shat the bed with boots on the ground in Iran by now.

I’ve been saying this for years, broads love EVs.

Except as CPO with 85,000 miles on it, somehow they’ll find a line of people willing to pay $29,499.

+1

I’m tired of all the bitching from Jalopnik staff about SUVs. A bunch of New Yorker city folk who don’t even drive everyday trying to tell the rest of America what we should be buying. Ironic since they rarely buy new cars anyways, yet want a say on what manufacturers should be building.

Looks like a Camaro backed into a Pepboys.

As the previous owner of a V8 5er, I agree wholeheartedly.

To be fair, the 2.0t is FAR from a lawnmower engine

If you buy an A6/5er/E-Class with a 4 cylinder, you are a poser, and I hope you hang your head in shame every time a Camry/Maxima/Impala blows your doors off at the onramp.

The answer to every A6 question since 1998! :)

I can get a nicely equipped Lexus GS for that price, why would I want a car that is not as quick, not as reliable, depreciates worse, and is costlier to fix when the warranty is up?  Yes, the spindle grill sucks, but the GS is probably the least offensive application of it.

Dang! Even with the lawnmower engine option it seems overpriced.

Neutral: When it comes to trucks I’ve only owned Fords, just grew up with em and stuck with em. I have to say though if I were in the market for a new fullsize it would be hard to pass on the Ram. Its just a really sharp looking truck and the interior is light years ahead of GM or Ford. Plus the ride is much better

That's fine, I just get tired of a lot of this stuff. Where I live I wouldn't feel safe on public transportation and it's 91 degrees with 100 percent humidity so I'm not riding a bike. I'd rather be stuck in traffic in the safety of my car with ac.

“Drive free or die". So I guess we're all just gonna die then?

Democracy working. People voted for a progressive mayor who banned cars in the city, and the citizenry responded by voting a new guy who rolls them back. This is politics - like a pendulum. See America...

I’ve been to Madrid and they’re all going to die of first and second hand cigarette smoke anyway.  It’s like telling those Chernobyl workers to wear sunblock so they don’t get skin cancer.

Banning cars is such a stupid idea, it’s incredibly regressive for one thing, as it usually impacts low income families who can’t afford something electric. Plus, you basically told the commuters in Madrid to fuck off. So it’s a good thing that this happened IMO.
