I’m thinking they won’t use it every lap. I suspect they would deploy it when trying to get max slip stream behind a Ferrari for example. At that point in the race they’re already mentally in the zone to be maximizing everything at their disposal like saving battery for a specific part of the track etc.

I was watching the F1 live feed from Spain today and Christian Horner (RBR) said in an interview today at the track that he believes that the system is most likely fully legal as it’s an extremely expensive solution and no team is going to invest that much money on the hope that it might be legal. This is coming from

Treatment was a success for you was it?

I personally think the solution is to have a hybrid of options. We have countries completely banning petrol\diesel when in reality it would seem to me to be a much more wise and rational decision to have hybrid solutions that require creative thinking rather than outright banning of petrol\diesel and leaving another

Maybe the Irish Oklahomans?!

Nothing you’ve said makes any sense. Holden didn’t fail because of tariffs. How did you come to that conclusion? Do tell. If you’re interested in actually learning something about this, here’s some correct info on the situation:

Nope no jokes, just solutions mate. Gotta keep a positive mindset there. Don’t be so cynical.

Another option is that the current male actors re-identify as women and then problem solved I reckon.

Excellent point. Also to note, it wasn’t that long ago that Jalopnik and readers were writing Lincoln off and telling them to go die. Not long after that, they completely turned things around.

Partner with Daihatsu. Use their mid-engined baby pickup as the basis for the next Tacoma to satisfy all of those people fantasizing about micro trucks on here and also get an MR2 out of it too. At this rate with BMW’s and Subaru’s re-badged as Toyotas, why not.

More importantly, it’s the colour of the American flag. Maybe you didn’t notice.

Now playing

Well since you’re so curious you might like to know that they are working towards using far less tyres (1 set per weekend) and also moving towards a synthetic fuel. The benefit is that it’s not a natural resource but also they believe they can actually make a fuel that is more energy dense and therefore better for

Well they’re about to feel less ‘better’ when they show up at an F1 race with their friends and find themselves sitting at a picnic table in a portakabin. Oh the joy of watching this mess unfold. The sponsors LOVE the glitz and glamour. Take that away and it’ll be harder to attract sponsors. Fun times!

Great points. Also, I think the gap in technology between a 2010 and a 2020 car isn’t that dramatic compared to say a 2000 and 2010 car. For example, if a person owns a paid off 2010 Honda Accord V6 top spec etc, I doubt the 2020 Accord is going to feel THAT much better. Yes it’ll be better here and there but is it

What about all the Camrys with 1 person in them and surrounded by empty seats? Should they give them back and start cycling to work?

Intolerant of vehicle diversity eh? Tut tut you bad person. Maybe everyone should drive a Civic and your problem will be solved.

Good point. Were cars back then much more affordable? I wonder if it was common for people to just change cars every 2 or 3 years.

Ironically though that sort of suggests to people you’re a crap mechanic!

I’ve been toying with this idea for a while now but need to drive one to see if I like it. Does the V6 feel powerful enough considering the weight of the car?
