Honda CRV = giant crossover? SERIOUSLY? Come on man, get real. People aren’t all buying V8 Land Cruisers. If people like\want a CRV\RAV4 etc then let them get what they want. The difference between those and Civics is nowhere near as dramatic as this article suggests. This article makes it sound like everyones buying

‘So, unless you actually work as a contractor or are an off-roading enthusiast, just buy a damn car.

‘Giant gas guzzling SUV’s’ - conjures up the notion that everyone is driving V8 Land Cruisers or something. You do realize little Rav4's and CRV’s are included in that group right? Those are hardly massive gas guzzling SUV’s and yet they account for a huge percentage of those sales around the world.

Crazy right?! They should all buy what you like and never have an original thought of their own. Dumb peoples liking to sit up high. Shame on them.

Hahaha nailed it!

Nah, they’re all diesel crap boxes except maybe the Focus ST\RSbut those are rare. The X5 diesels though are pretty cool.

Speaking in double negatives like that gives me a freakin head ache. Do you normally go around saying ‘I don’t not like this or that’?! Good grief.

Cadillac ATS with seriously crap cheap looking gauges:

So I’ve a sort of unrelated but semi-related question : With the ongoing strike, are there vehicles half-built at factories around the country? If so, is it likely that quality would suffer later this year when manufacturing resumes? I really don’t know how this all works and whether there really are half-built

The car company is in F1 for marketing reasons. It’s not a charitable venture. It is true that the car company did pump money into the team, but the team made that money back plus 13.3 million so the net net is that the result of the efforts (however you label it) is that the marketing effort of the overall Mercedes

Or...

All good points there that you’ve made but in fairness I questioned how they JUSTIFY it versus afford it so while I’m sure it’s money available to them in their budget, it’s gotta be hard to swallow that $900 (or more) lease on a Yukon XL Denali. That’s my perspective though. To others it’s easy to justify I suppose.

I used to think leasing was how they did it but then you look at the lease prices and choke since they aren’t that much cheaper if at all so the question is still there - how the heck to these people justify to themselves spending massive money on Suburbans and Yukons for example. Do they eat out less? Take zero

It sounds nice enough but sounds like it’s short shifting or something. Maybe it’s just a bad recording but to me a Mustang GT sounds better.

WOW. Bloody heck mate that’s awful. Thanks for sharing though.

What happens if they bump into each other?! Do they cancel each other out!?

And it’s always some POS literally parked inches from your car. What is it with people who do that? It drives me nuts to come back and find my car out in no mans land with a junker parked right next to it and likely dinged when that person got out.

A bit like cotton candy flavoured grapes - it’s a weird combo! You’re better off just buying cotton candy!

Agreed on the Armada looking better than the Infiniti version. For some reason Nissan just doesn’t make any effort selling the Armada. It’s very underrated.
