Needs vs wants. Not complicated. They buy them because they WANT them, not because they’re towing\hauling anything. We all do this with various products in our lives. If you say you don’t then you’re lying.

Nothing new under the sun as they say! Check out early 1981stop\start technology!
This perfectly nails it. I’ve started to say the same thing now too.
I like the chart! I think a lot depends on where you come from too and what’s considered normal. Here in Ireland I grew up AMAZED to see a Ford Scorpio with a 2.8 V6 and in later years the 2.9 V6 Cosworth. If the owner was nearby I’d ask them to start it up so I could hear it roar!
So definitely no change it’ll be built in Mexico then?
Heard a guy commenting on another guys car saying its got a ‘dope lope’. I hadn’t a freaken clue. Had to google it. Ahhh!
Nice to read some good news for a change. We need more of this to start the day instead of the political ranting most common around here.
What if that’s not true though. Say it anyway just to please some people?
What you say is correct. Honda has been mulling this decision for years, well before Brexit. The problem with this is that it complicates the narrative around here. Oh well so much for objective reporting.
With a Ford turbo diesel 4 cyl most likely as an option.
According to some Pilots it could be a Jazzy way to become Fit by hosing it a second time to put out the flames! You’d be Legendary!
Man you really are doing F1 2018 a huge disservice with your summary. last year was intense watching two of the biggest stars battle it out in mostly equal cars (overall) for making the fewest mistakes plus actually racing wheel to wheel. True, the wheel to wheel racing wasn’t all the time but it wasn’t all DRS like…
I was referring to 2018 because it was the best it’s been in a long time. I didn’t mention any other year. I agree that years ago it was a lot worse.
Also, yes those 2 drivers may of course have led most of the races but they’ve been involved in fantastic racing too and last year had a lot of that. Additionally, add in…
Hmmm I guess you missed all of F1 in 2018.
Unfortunately that’s not true. The biggest problem is the limitation of the tyres. The guys are hamstrung by not being able to aggressively race each other much because the tyres degrade by a huge degree.
EXACTLY. Even Rosberg said recently that standing at the side of the track at Baku was scary looking. They’re massively impressive to watch.
Is tyre wear a big deal in Indycar? Does it have a big impact in the races at all? I genuinely do not know as I don’t follow that series. In F1, the drivers can’t necessarily be ‘wrestling’ the cars around all the time as it induces very high tyre wear unfortunately. This is why sometimes you might only see drivers…
Jag started going downhill when they gave up their classy elegant designs for diesel bland blobs with average interior quality all at premium pricing. It’s starting to bite hard now. You could put a Ford badge on one of their saloons now and wouldn’t surprise anyone. In fact I’d wager that a Mondeo has better interior…
You’re assuming the dealer put any thought into it. Most likely it went like this:
Because all the Jalops would roll their eyes, throw tantrums and moan that all the small cars are gone while people buy ‘massive’ limos. Just not worth the fall out from Jalopnik!
