You’re what they call dumb on purpose. You know exactly the point being made but you choose to play dumb. The entire point is forest management. You know this but you choose to be intentionally ignorant. Do the slightest bit of research on what they do in Australia or other countries for example and you’ll get the

Aren’t we all the same though but on a lesser scale? You see that toy or car accessory you want, you think about it for a long time until you can afford it then you have it and there’s a weird anti-climax. You then start wanting a new car or accessory. That’s true for me anyway. Not sure about others.

Yep, nailed it. Plus, I think cars like the Camry and Corolla actually develop character as they get older precisely because of their purpose to just be there when you need them which is pretty rare. To me, there’s something hugely appealing and fascinating about a high mileage Camry or Corolla that’s still working

hmmmm:

Don’t forget the 4 door Mustang as a potentially real thing!

Your logic is strange - if caution equals self importance in your mind then good luck with being safe out there. You wouldn’t want to be cautious now would you. Good luck.

Why the eye roll? It sounds like you’re hugely disconnected from the reality of current data trends where even meta data from an app is enough of an identifier to not make it worth the ‘free’ lunch.

I wonder what percentage of these owners\users live in accommodation
with private parking where plugging in is easy\safe and what percentage live in accommodation with street parking where charging is far less convenient.

I was thinking exactly the same. The sheer amount of money being pumped into auto tech could have a huge impact on the EV infrastructure that’s needed.

So if it’s confirmed that it’s really a 4 door Supra, would you swap out the BMW badges and put Toyota badges on it?!

I didn’t like these at the time but given how current Jags all look bland, these older ones have way more character. A modern Jag is so generic looking that it could be a Zotye if you took the badges off.

Check out this YT channel below. I’ve been following these guys for a while. Having lived in China I think for about 10yrs or so, they’re pretty well placed to comment on this.

Soooooo, cheaper to run a car in the UK than the US then? Costs are the same I guess?

I saw the headline, cynically laughed out loud saying it’s probably based on a Focus. Surely not! So I read the article. Sigh. This is worthy of Sniffpetrol big time.

I think this is precisely the problem. I’m in Ireland and I’ve family in the UK. No one in their right might is going to daily a big petrol engine car either here or in the UK- and yes, the 2.0 6cyl in the IS200 would be considered a big petrol engine. I’m not totally sure about road tax in the UK but here in Ireland

Because Verstappen had the win in his pocket regardless of whether he was ahead or behind Ocon on the track so why fight it. A more mature level headed driver would’ve let Ocon have it and still come home to win the race.

I mentioned Nissan because they got rid of our Primera and Almera models as the mainstream sellers and replaced them with SUV\CUV’s. Yes they do still have the Micra and Pulsar but compared to what Nissan used to offer, they’re now very heavily dependent on SUV\CUV’s.

Absolutely nailed it.

I think people just love to hate. It seems far easier for many on here to just be perpetually in a state of anger and hate about EVERYTHING. I also think that Ford probably shouldn’t have actually announced that intent and just did it quietly like Nissan did in Europe for example. They quietly did it and now look at

What’s weird about it? I keep reading about and hearing about it on YT etc but I’ve never heard someone explain exactly what’s weird about it. Is the spring not consistent? Is the bite too high? That sort of detail.
