I respectfully disagree with the Sheriff. As a member of a different SAR group, we don’t mind our resources being tied up by people who have a bad day. After all, a day in the wilderness is better than any day sitting on my computer typing a response to another sheriff who wants us to live in bubbles.
I have actually done narrower stuff than that on this guy. Looks like a blast in a Jeep.
Why aren’t US and EU crash testing similar? Seriously though. I understand we all like to go fast and keep little jimmy and sarah in the back seat safe, but it would save so much more time and money for a global automotive platform if they could mass produce the same vehicle for some of the larger markets.

I agree, the problem with ethanol in the US is that we're making it from (and thereby competing with the prices of) food. I've long asked why the individual states don't subsidize the growing of switchgrass along all of the medians and verges of all these highways we have in the state, and harvest it to make ethanol.…
