@SponsoredbyV8: That Atmosphere album is great, and it gets bonus points for such a great title.
@Samer Ocho Cinco: Dartmouth didn't invent Beirut, they invented PONG. With the paddles. Everything else is a bastardization, and blame Lehigh or Penn or some other school for that.
Long post, but this is my wheelhouse. I'm waiting for next year to do my end-of-the-decade list, but there were some that I agree with that were mentioned earlier:
@Samer Ocho Cinco: Do we even care about football? We went winless last year. Fuck it, I can't wait for hockey season.
Wow, Missisippi St. stuffed less than a yard away from the end zone. Beautiful.
@U-P-G-R-A-Y-E-D-D: This is the clip I play for everybody I convert into MMJ fans.
Can we not hit it based purely on shallow reasons? Some of us may not appreciate her weird plasticity and her extremely dead eyes.
If Kirilenko's not available, Arvidas [sic] Sabonas will do (he's Russian, right)?
@titansfan78: Put up or shut up.
I know you are but what am I?
"New Orleans is now 1-0 for the third time in four years and currently shares the number one spot in the NFC South with the Atlanta Falcons"
@WolframFantazmic: No, not at all. Even the intro to the video seem to make it clear, since they mention his humor.
Hey, Cajun Boy, where do you go to watch LSU games? I went to a so-called LSU bar in mid-town during the NCAAs last year, and it was empty.
@Nick: I do believe that because you sound out the "L", in effect making it "El", the use of "an" is indeed appropriate.
@allyzay: Doesn't the tattoo give you a clue?
You've got to correct your Ivy stereotypes—Chad Pennington's got a Yalie haircut. Even his name fits!
And he had a six-month old daughter. Heartbreaking.
@Moose A. Moose: Thanks, it was a failure on my part to review to see who said "scourge". While Nordlinger did not use the term, it's a fair assessment to say that he was complaining that this was a common enough problem; on the other hand, as I reread it, I can see how it's also only an occasional problem.
@Moose A. Moose: "It doesn't happen a lot" Doesn't that invalidate the point that it's a "scourge"?
